I don't think the staff would pass on Ekanem. They seem to be pretty high on him as is Coach D over on ISD. I agree that one more would lock down the position but then you get into a scenario of:

What happens if Odenigbo commits and then Noor Davis wants to flip later in the process?

It's hard to say when a position is locked up when you bring elite names into the mix. That being said, our staff has shown in recent instances that they are not afraid to turn away elite talent (Tommy Schutt) when they feel they have reached their desired limit at a position.

I believe the staff wants 1 OLB but might take 2 if its the right 2. If Spence or Noor Davis want to come on board on Signing Day they will try to make room. Do not think they see Ekanem on that level

No way Tracy Howard is hands down the best CB in this class, but we don't have a shot with him. Jones is coming for the USC game, which gives us a chance.
