The Irish played OK Nova played a whole lot better in all facets of the game. Nova had a slight edge in rebs on both ends of the court, outshot FGs 29 for 60 versus 23 for 51, outshot the 3s 10 for 24 versus 7 for 22, won out the Foul Line 22 for 28 versus 19 for 30, scored better in the paint 34 to 26, had the edge in points off turnovers 20 to 13, had a slight edge in 2nd chance points 14 to 11, had a 10 point edge in fast break points 12 to 2, had a 14 point bulge in bench points 24 to 10.

Nova has depth ND can't muster.

ND hasn't beat a top-10 team on the road since 2001.

I hate to say I told ya so. I said they would lose by 16-20 and people laughed at me. This team is nowhere near worthy of competing in the big dance let alone the NON IMPORTANT TOURNEY. This team lacks fundamentals and discipline. And how do you miss a FREE throw? Thats why they're called FREE! SAD!

team is s frustrating to watch, we're good but not good enough and im tired of it. same goes for the football team. hell even the womens bball team sucked it up against uconn. why cant we be the teams handing these beatdowns out instead of taking them!

can someone please go to the rim HARD!!! im tired of our players getting posterized. the only time we dunk is when it is uncontested, bust some heads damnit get tough!! i cant watch anymore!!!

Its sad really. I have seen high school teams play tougher than Brey's teams. They lack toughness and aggressiveness. They need a coach like Tom Izzo. He makes his basketball teams where shoulder pads. Brey's teams are soft. Remember Troy Murphy and how hard he used to take it to the rim?
