ACC refs are absolute trash and should all be fired.

Targeting is so wildly dumb in CFB. That was a perfectly clean hard hit.

I heart Audric Estime.

Tommy was great today.

Drew was really good today

Michael Mayer is a fucking superhero.

WE'LL NEVER LOSE AGAIN!!!!

Great win.

I want Drake Maye cloned and in an ND uniform. Dude is a cyborg.

Excellent play calling by Rees.

That first offensive drive was…offensive. Two batted passes seemed like a horrible omen. Kudos to Pyne for righting the ship on the next series & beyond.

Mayer is a manchild

I can’t believe UNC’s defense was as bad as advertisee; especially coming out of a bye.

Despite not much of a run game, UNC seems like they can score at will when everything is going right. I suspect, they’ll need a run game if they want to beat the better teams…well & a defense w/ a pulse.

Since Maye proved they could strike so quickly, I was impressed w/ how ND didn’t let up. They made a few mental errors that need to be cleaned up (Cam Hart‘s decision to let the WR go, Estime’s fumble, Bertrand targeting again).

Get healthy. Build on the foundation built the past two games and keep getting better.

Tommy called a great game. He’ll have chances coming up to prove he can do it against a team that plays defense.

Our offense will go as the OL goes. If we are able to get a push and run the ball, Rees will be able to scheme up enough relatively easy passes to take advantage of the defense having to sell out to stop the run. If the OL can also protect the QB, those passes don't have to be short. Pyne is also smart enough to take care of the ball, poised enough not to panic in a clean pocket, and a good enough passes to take what the defense gives him.

If the OL can remain dominant, we might be able to look like a Wisconsin team with a more competent QB. The question is if the OL can actually do this again against a defense that isn't among the worst in FBS.

That was a good fun game. Nice to see us just run all over them, and Rees called a game just about perfectly for Drew Pyne, who executed it well. Along with the RBs, obvs, was a good day for Mayer and Styles, and the O Line starts to look like what we thought they were. If we can sustain an offense like that we will be just fine.

That said, holy hell is UNC's defense poorly coached. Sloppy, undisciplined, out of position. You wouldn't think they have not one but two national championship winning head coaches on the staff, but here they are. It's a good thing they play in the conference they do but they will give up a lot of points.

Estime is da boss!
More Mayer or even Batman please.
This is the team we thought we could be minus several bonehead plays.
Team needs to killer finishing instinct a la Iron Mike Tyson.
Payne played better than average but he didn’t need to be better than average given th playcalling and all around execution. Should have had 55 plus but that’s not his fault. I think we score that and more with TB running the ball back there.
Glad that we started returning punts.
I see a blocked punt by our ST in the future.
Like seeing a lot of the young guys getting reps. No leftover Kelly favorites.
Watts can tackle!
Great game fo Riley Mills. If he keeps improving what a dynamic duo we have.
Gave myself permission to smoke a stogey.
Tommy is calling plays like his job is on the line. He gets love from the announcers as if he’s related to Joe Biden.
Happy for FreeMan.

Unfortunately Marshall has shown they aren’t very good hence that loss is quite the unforgivable low point. We could win out Andrew that loss weIll be a deal breaker. Marshall lost to Bowling Green who sucks.

Estime is deservedly getting love but Tyree is playing like a stud too. Never seen him show so much wiggle or lower his shoulder on guys before.
When he was a five star recuit i thought he was going to be an electric home run threat every time he had the ball in his hands, never turned out to be that kind of player but he is becoming a very reliable Running back who plays very hard, although i would like to see him make people miss more often.

Kyren Williams is a tough act to follow. Gets yards where none are there. Diggs is definitely RB3

Foskey and Mills were NFL’ers today. We needed that earlier but gladly take it now. This is what we thought we had to start the season. It feels like the 2019 DL. You didn’t know where it was coming from but you knew it was coming.

OL much improved but I think the RB’s are helping. Tyree and Estime are running behind their pads and downhill. They have been fire.

Hats off to Freeman and Rees. While the team was very unprepared against Marshall and to start Cal. This is 5-6 quarters of good football.

UNC’s defense is terrible but it’s still a good showing for the offense. Another one for Rees. Stay here. Stay in this creative space. Make them defend the entire field.

I said before Cal that I felt Pyne has it in him to run an efficient version of this offense though he’s never consistently done it. His arm strength is limited deep, but some of the short and intermediate stuff was terrific. Like, Book doesn’t make some of those throws over the middle. He likely wins a different way but those were big time darts from Pyne.

Defense played too good of a football game to fall apart late. High scoring game with a big lead, they lost a little focus. Not going to lose sleep over it but good teaching moments are always better after a W.

Today was fun for the most part. Not all games this season will be satisfying but let’s enjoy it.

Overall, I’d give the offense an A- today and that’s really only a - for the first two drives and Estime’s fumble to not cap it off. Defense had a tough task. They forced a turnover and constantly got pressure and did enough I guess but these lapses can’t happen. I’ll give them a C-. Special teams a B. I like the punt tip and Joseph in return, but missed field goal dings this of course.

Please show this to every running back recruit in the country:
  • Chris Tyree 104 yards 1 touchdown
  • Logan Diggs 110 yards 1 touchdown
  • Audric Estime 136 yards 2 touchdowns
Hats off to Pyne. Guy played a damn near perfect game. Only remember a couple bad throws and him not getting the sneak (not really his fault).

Michael Mayer is a high octane offense I believe has better stats than Brock Bowers.

Styles with a very nice game and I was happy to see Thomas get involved today.

The defensive line played a helluva game. The linebackers were okay. Tough task. We really missed DJ Brown in the second half. What happened to him?

Idk what Kiser provides that wouldn’t be better from Kollie.

I am glad we are getting the freshman corners PT but they’re really struggling here for every other good play they make.

Lastly, shout out Tommy Rees. He’s not off the hook yet for Marshall or his QB recruiting/development, but today was beautiful and probably as easy as they come for him.
Fun fact: Kiser leads ND in tackles after 4 games
Second in UA tackles
Has played about 80 less snaps than Liufau or Bertrand

It’s easy for us fans to say “put a spy on the QB” but it’s not easy in practice as it’s still 11 on 11. Huge props to Marist for when he did spy Maye and read the plays perfectly. I saw him being patient today & then striking quickly. Well done.

Here's another fun fact: my fart cleared out an entire wal mart fitting room area today.
