Are we allowed to censor threads?
I have a target.

Why? Haha. Maybe It's not for front page? Put It in politics.
I'm not here to argue, but I'll never understand the old "we can't talk politics/religion'"because people are creatures of habit. Or we are clans of another time, or we aren't that understood...

The reason we are in the situation we are in, Is because we are all followers... (I am Too) unless we have money to topple the politics.

I always feel like I should defend my way of understanding.
I'm just curious of what everyone else thinks. I'm not on a Crusade to change hearts and minds.

Curiosity' always kills the Cat tho.....
Sometimes I get into my feelings and worry too much about the future for my children.

Censorship .....

I think censorship is huge problem and only going to get nastier.

Certain digital platforms have become ubiquitous to the point of almost supplanting society with a 'digital society' at least in the 'social/entertainment' sense. The problem is that these 'digital societies' do not adhere to the Constitution, but adhere to the company EULA. Therefore the 1st Amendment, and other American rights, are trampled over in the name morality, safety, and inclusion determined by an unelected employee of a company.

The answer is not 'get off the platform' because modern digital life is dominated by these platforms.

So, if your the shot-caller at youtube, you can ban anyone/anything you want, just put it in the EULA and you are golden.....Imagine someone who has GBs or TBs of images on a google drive, then google whacks there account and all those images are gone forever.

Thank You. I now know I have 1 person other than I, that see's the way our current system Is being played out....

I'm tired of saying this, that, and all of the rest is a scary thought,... when we are living it.

Well Circa I agree with you also about censorship. George Orwell predicted a lot of this happening over 70 years ago when he wrote 1984. Big Brother is watching you, etc. I'm an old man of 65 and stuck in my ways, but the future could be a little dicey for the younger generation. Oh well, what the hell do I know. Go Irish.

Hey there. I'm not into turning this brotherhood into a social media thingy majiggy....

I will say I'm excited to see a member from 14-15 years ago have a similar point of perspective.

Sorry I got a little carried away Circa brother. I will make this my last post ever as reading everyone's elses' posts is good enough for me. ALL IRISH FANS ARE MY HEROES. Now I'm gonna get back to my Bob Seger music.

No one’s First Amendment rights are being trampled by a corporate decision to limit speech. They have the right to “censor”. It’s the government that can’t limit speech (within certain limitations such as yelling “fire” in a crowd).

But the problem is that the public has to be the check and balance for censorship or for limiting the free flow of ideas. That’s the true issue. YouTube, Google, etc are in a position to influence the flow of ideas and thought and information. Just like everyone should have their day in court, I think every idiot should be able to broadcast their views. Unfortunately the corporations can use company policies to prevent that.

That said, I find it extremely unethical and concerning when information about something like the Coronavirus is being censored because it doesn’t fit the MSM fear monger it narrative.

Just my .02

If you remember your history, the U.S. was started because many Englishmen were tired of being censored by the King of England. 244 years later here we are free to make our own decisions as individuals. Nobody has censored us yet.

Can I just say, since it was in the OP, that Rogan is a giant douche and it concerns me that men from 20-50 are heavily influenced by Rogan and Barstool.

Rogan giving his platform to legitimate nutjobs (Alex Jones) is problematic.

I like Rogan, he's entertaining. But that's what he is, an entertainer. He's not a smart guy, he just remembers facts and articulates them with a certain authority.

It is concerning that so many dudes take his word as the gospel. His clinging to saunas and "heat shock proteins" is almost as bad as a woman's undying belief in essential oils. That was sexist, I should have said a female-type human's undying belief in essential oils.

I really wish we could look past the silliness of a 1 man system of understanding. IMHO... He talks about things people understand, and in the way it's easy to understand.

I don't understand the way hate enters the idea of, live and let live harder.

Really? If a guy can speak off the cuff about any subject provided and state facts.... not opinion... how is that unintelligent?

In reality it's all about censorship. He's flipping off the idea of parental ways of enlightenment. Why would anyone be upset about free speech?

Rogan has been friends with Jones for decades. I don't blame him for sticking by his friend and having him on to watch him go crazy. If anyone takes anything Jones says at face value they're a moron. The spectacle of having him on and watching him beg Eddie Bravo to choke him out while he's ranting about the government turning the frogs gay and interdimensional demonic pedophiles is about as entertaining as a podcast can get.

Censorship Is a deep problem and It seems someone hit a nerve...

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Mark Zuckerberg is a traitor to America.</p>— Jon Cooper &#55356;&#56826;&#55356;&#56824; (@joncoopertweets) <a href="https://twitter.com/joncoopertweets/status/1266018006108442626?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 28, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

It's around 20 minutes. Few of us middle age people are willing to understand/take the time to ask.... why.
There are,.. and always will be problems.
Let's just see both sides before the conclusion.
Media driven problems aren't the answer.

Really don't like the role of "policeman" here, but Lazar is a widely discredited fraud and con-man throughout the serious and even semi-serious UFO community. He's even a nasty one capable of involvement in pornography schemes (installing covert video in brothels --- sentenced and ordered to psychotherapy) and direct cash taking lies about promised tech breakthroughs with no glimmering of coming through on them (to the then-naive Vegas billionaire Bob Bigelow.)

{{I was loosely employed by Bigelow as a UFO consultant just after this latter incident. ... my consultancy fees went to The Center for UFO Studies to try to keep it afloat in an age of rejection of on-the-ground citizen organizations by people wanting free information on the internet; almost none of the small group independents survived the Internet Effect. Bigelow was a very tough guy to work with, but he wanted to be at the edge of UFO knowledge so badly that he was vulnerable to scams like Lazar's.}}

Just found out that Lazar lives about 20 miles away from me. CRAZY! I instantly came here to see if OMM had mentioned him.

Given today's attitudes about "don't give a damm about truth ; just entertain me," this con-man will always stay in the public eye --- and is doing so on TV right now. He is even being portrayed as some kind of persecuted martyr to truth. That's IRONY in capital letters. Piece of garbage ..........

We in the research community have so much positive data that crap like this clown puts out there constantly sends us backwards. All the way back in 1950, a writer was publishing wrong stuff and the intelligence community came to give his main informant a visit. He was afraid of consequences, but they told him to go ahead, they liked what he was doing.

5G; Information related to our Future

5G; Information related to our Future

The more I read and understand the cause and effect of the gigahertz related to our Cell phone usage....
The more I worry.
When I learned a microwave works on 2.4 gigs. I started to try to understand.
Nobody allows their children/ grandchildren to stand next to their microwave for reasons we learned 20 years ago. So I started to try to understand and ask myself questions as if I was a 12 year old... Again.

5G will be broadcast as 5 gigahertz and can only work with towers that take care of 20-30 homes.

We are in the deep.

Don't you already have a conspiracy thread elsewhere?

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

It's not a conspiracy bud. The 5G network will cause our immune system problems. FACT.
As usual tho, the people that want to spread false information are saying we are moron's and anyone trying to understand the facts are labeled conspiratorial.

The CIA came up with the idea of a "Conspiracy Theory" In the late 60's after the Warren report was released and the 'Magic Bullet' was given as the cause of JFK's death.
