Its a super overrated place if you don't fit that vibe.

Unless you like to ski. Probably worth it then

Went to the St P’s Day Parade today,… downtown Denver is stunningly nice and well kept up… especially coming from Cali with LA, SD and SF. Doing the refuge tomorrow

Headed to Alaska this summer, first timer. Client has a cabin in Soldotna on Kenai Peninsula. Some sightseeing and fishing on tap. Will also attend Indy Car race in Elkhart Lake WI, and have a 4 day conference in Vegas. And already dialing in trips back to SB for ND FB in the Fall.

Last time I was in Alaska-many moons ago. Slept outside in -30 F with the wind chill. Pulling sleds with a dog harness, walking in snowshoes. A blast. Northern Warfare Training in Greely. Would love to return to bowhunt Brown Bears.

Now go to Seattle and prep for the final boss… (not SF)——- Portland. Also- count the expired vehicle tags for fun. Nobody fears being pulled over or ticketed for anything.

Sucks because right outside of Portland is some of the best outdoor activities in the US

Denver has really transformed since we lived there and that was just a little over a decade ago. My wife and I went back this past summer and we felt so out of place.

We hit a few good places for food but we vowed to not go back unless we're hitting the slopes. Glad you found something to enjoy while you were there.

Taking the family to Tybee Island and Savannah in June… anyone have any good recommendations for food or sites to see in Savannah? We’ve been before, and we have the places we like on Tybee covered, but we only did a day trip into Savannah last time. Will be going into Savannah a few days this go-around.

Definitely going to The Crab Shack for a seafood boil, but no must-have meals other than that planned.

All this Denver talk makes me nervous. I am still many years away from retiring but our plan was to head into mountains in Frisco, run a little coffee shop/ski rental business and live local in mountains. Sounds like the wave of woke may hit there before I get time.
