You would expect that Bama would be a vocal advocate for a one-time transfer without losing a year of eligibility.

Perhaps Young will decide to transfer before the season to USC as Bru McCoy did from Texas last year and apply for a hardship waiver. The family can get a lawyer as McCoy did.

I think I'd put ND as a winner. Not quite like some of those programs, but they didn't lose too much to transfers (They did lose Gilman and Kmet to the draft which was expected). I expect all 4 guys will be impact players (I think Speights could be less so, but he'll get some burn) and they didn't lose too much.

interesting - just watched a Q&A with Jack and Powlus yesterday where Jack was saying the NCAA has too much going on all at once with one time transfer waivers, name and likeness, plus pandemic related issues.

He's a DI prospect, he's just not a P5 QB is his problem and Temple QB will most likely be over his head too. He was a track prodigy when he was younger. He ran in the 10.8/100m and in the 21's/200m. At 6-0/195+, he needs to concentrate on somewhere to use his physical tools.

Yeah, I'd say just okay. I can't be the only one that saw his potential at ND and thought that would translate to gaudy numbers at a FCS program like Jacksonville St. < 500 yds, 6 TDs. I was surprised he wasn't jumping off the stat sheet a little more.

Hope the kid cleaned up his act off the field and puts up a monster Sr. year somewhere.

They did have a 6'7" senior who had over 1000 yards. I can see the value of throwing it up to him haha. Also, a 6'4" senior with almost 1000 yards.

He was disciplined for missing a class, and then in Feb was arrested with his girlfriend for domestic abuse. He'd been away from the team, though Saban said the door remained open for a return. Carter was a four star propect in 2019.

Alabama is still 4 over 85.

He seems to want to work his way back. I could also see him going to another SEC school with an ex-Bama head coach.
