Yep. I realize we need help at WR but people need to pump the brakes on Merriweather a little. He’s been here all of four games. When he has been on the field, he has mostly made mistakes. His time will come. But it’s not here just yet.

I agree with the "pumping of brakes" on forcing freshmen into live action, but Pete Sampson had a stat regarding the top 20 WRs from last year's class and Merriweather is ranked 18th in game reps (and the 20th ranked kid is hurt)...so really he's ranked second to last. Surely there is something this staff can do to get this kid on the field....even if it's to help him acclimate or to give other WRs a rest. They don't have an issue doing this on defense, so what's the issue here? Especially given how bad the WR room is? However, with most things in life, there are plenty of variables at play for example, this offense isn't built for an air raid. The best 5 skill players are RBs and TEs and Styles. No need to cram square pegs into round holes. This kid's time will come, no question. He just needs to continue to work hard and do the right things.
