It is with some reservations that I post this, but I wanted to take a moment to let the posters out here on Irish Envy know that I have decided to move on. I have enjoyed my time here and have a deep appreciation for the posters that frequent Irish Envy. What a great site for fans to come and discuss their team. I would like to thank all of those that welcomed me here, spent time discussing, debating, and yes, at times disagreeing on topics, teams, etc. I will try to check back when I can to “catch up” on all the happenings, but as far as posting myself, I think my time has come to move on from that.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

I have always had a deep respect for the Notre Dame football program and how the university represents itself. And I will continue to do so in the future. I have enjoyed getting to know more about the players, coaches, and fans that call Notre Dame their team. I wish the Fighting Irish nothing but success in the future and hope to one day see them line up against my team. It will remind me of my time out here and all the forum friends I have made.<o

I could list all the posters out here who went out of their way to treat me as one of their own – even if, in reality, I am not. I would inevitably leave someone off the list that should be on it so I will just say thanks to all. You know who you are and I thank you for your support, kind words, and overall hospitality.<o

I would, however, like to personally thank Whiskey for encouraging me to hang around in the early days of my time out here. Some posters can be a bit difficult at times, especially with an outsider that finds their way to Irish Envy. With that said, I always remembered that Irish Envy is a Notre Dame fan board after all and tried my best to remember that when posting. Sometimes I failed in that but it was never my intentions to discredit, disrespect, or otherwise bring undue negative feelings toward the university, Irish Envy, Irish fans, or posters in general. And yes I had and have my share of disagreements with some but that’s what makes a fan forum what it is. If I have disrespected, demeaned, or otherwise brought undue hardships in that, then I ask that if it were you then please accept my apologies. <o

I have, and will continue to believe that the Irish football program is headed in the right direction and is getting closer to realizing that they can once again consistently rise to the elite level of college football. It should be exciting watching the Irish take the field in the coming years and T Town will be cheering them on. Go Irish!!!!<o

You guys leave koon alone. He loves the Irish and if I have come to know anything about fans… if they are your fan then they are your fan. Good, bad, silly, crazy, or otherwise. Gotta own them just the same. Koon loves ND and that’s all that should matter.<o
