My thoughts exactly. With the normal pants it would look 70s retro and be pretty awesome. With green pants I think it looks like an mediocre NFL color rush set. The good news is that they usually keep green jerseys for a few years so I hope in the future we see them with the regular mustard pants.

Spot on. It's a subjective topic, but they initially reminded me of Oregon (just with gold helmets) or USF (just a lighter shade of green). Unfortunately, the more I look at them, the more and more I dislike them. It just doesn't look like Notre Dame, to me. They should have slapped the gold pants on. But to each his own...

It's just too much green. It's a failure in basic color coordination. You don't put green shirts, with green pants, with green shoes. How about green jerseys, gold pants, and black cleats? Why the need for green vomit??

Just my impression of the responses in the video…. didn’t get a sense of a lot of enthusiasm. Not surprised by that multiple people talked about the cleats as opposed to the jersey.

Didn't need to follow recruiting to see the connection here. Buford was dominating the state when I was playing.

Yeah... Joe Alt is surprisingly massive, even to a fan like me who likes to think they pay attention to ND football a little too much.

What blew me away is that Angelli looks nothing like I thought he does and that's weird. As someone who spends too much time thinking about kids playing sports, the fact he looks like a somewhat athletic jazz fusion keyboardist took me by surprise.

How did I not know he was a little nerdish? I'm an even bigger fan now.
