When I see Adidas, I see Dayne Crist in that boys medium jersey, so dumb. Adidas football is weak.

I don't know how I feel about this. I think change is exciting, but I've come to absolutely love our uniforms the past two years. I hope UA doesn't change much. Especially the pants color, which I think we finally NAILED last season, and the addition of the captains' 'C.'

I don't even think thats arguable. That is one really nice thing. We are priority #1 for UA.

was never a fan of the actual UA logo.
even in the beginning when they were "hip" and "up and coming".
now it seems "overdone" its hard to explain in words. just seems a but cheesy to me, but hell im an old fart what do i know-give the kids what they like! just win games i dont care if they're wearing pony cleats with garanimal tops.
i had no problem at all with our current unis, attire.
having been to been to hammes at least 2x year for almost 3 decades, i wonder if adidas will have to announce layoffs after this?

*Or more importantly, their basketball shoes? I couldn't imagine playing an entire season of basketball in shit shoes.

If company A produces more durable, adaptable and protective shoes, as well as leggings, pants, jerseys, shoulder pads helmets and masks than companies B, C, D or whatever, then I say go with them.

The color scheme, pattern and flourish design should remain the purview of ND (tradition taken into account and stride) with a long term mindset in mind. Hell, in my day a paisley Day-Glo
shamrock somewhere on the uni would have been welcomed by many.

Would this have been welcomed by most then or now? No fucking way! Do you want to return to the Larry Bird/Magic Johnson days of short-shorts? Do baggy ass "clam digger" pants make basketball better?

Does the money dedicated to uniforms REALLY determine the outcome on the field or court? A logo placement here , a color scheme there don't mean shit.

Performance on the field or court does.

Well, me and Y.A. (we was friends back in the day) usta put 150 grit sandpaper in our jocks to feel good. 150 grit is the silk of sandpaper. If we'd been worried about lookin' good we'd a gone to a plastic surgeon.

Good news!

I think switching to UA is going to be a boon for both UA and ND. ND would not enter into this relationship without being able to control decisions. UA is big among the younger folks-Nike/Adiddas- big companies without the growth potential that UA has. UA's ceiling is huge comparatively. UA has the AA HS football game and as mentioned (I'm sure it has all been mentioned), ND will be project #1 for UA. Now video boards! Rock on!
