Take away all their cheating, it would probably be a toss-up! Cheatin' Bastards!!!
I need some smart nerd to produce a study to analyze the advantage gained by cheating that is now lost vs. the disadvantage that Penn State has by being coached by Franklin.

A former Big Ten coach at a rival school in recent days forwarded to the Wolverines copies of two single-page documents listing Michigan’s deciphered signals, three sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to Sports Illustrated. The former Big Ten coach was a member of a staff that he said last season received multiple detailed breakdowns of which signals corresponded to which play calls. He told Michigan, according to the sources, that the information had originally come from other Big Ten schools.
Michigan is also likely to argue that there is a distinction without a true difference between what Stalions is accused of doing and what other Big Ten schools did in forwarding their scouting to a future opponent. In the process of making that argument, Michigan seems ready and willing to throw blame around the rest of the conference, potentially escalating this into a bitter battle on many fronts. Michigan will also likely point to a lack of due process involved with suspending Harbaugh before an NCAA investigation wraps up.

One front that was de-escalated Monday: NCAA sources confirmed to SI that it has found no connection between Ohio State coach Ryan Day or his family and the original information that was received by the association in October, sparking the investigation. Yahoo first reported that no connection had been found.

The story that never ends...

It wouldn't surprise me if other schools deciphered signals legally.

It wouldn't even surprise me if other schools videoed signals illegally.

It would surprise me if any other school was stupid enough to purchase tickets under a staffers name, using a public venmo, and sneaking onto another teams sideline with spy glasses. LOL.

Michigan can scream all they want that other schools were deciphering codes too. Anybody stupid enough to do it illegally, leaving a pretty blatant trail in their wake, they deserve to get hammered. If Michigan wants to show proof that other schools did it illegally, have at it.

The venue for the OSU vs Michigan game has been changed from the big house to the courthouse.
It could be one of the most watched games ever. Something will go down. Michigan already has a pregame reputation. The ejections will be a plenty.

This doesn't prove anything illegal though. Schools are free to share deciphered signals with whomever they want. There would need to be proof that these schools obtained the information illegally, i.e. as Michigan did.

It seems obvious that these schools were so pissed at what Michigan was doing that they banded together to share whatever they knew about Michigan's signals each week. You still can't explain the singular outrage directed against Michigan by these schools if you assume "everyone was doing it."

Does anyone have any opinions on how smart or not it would be for Michigan to go scorched earth against their own conference? I don't know whether or not they're trying to bluff, which wouldn't be remembered, but I really wonder how doing what they're threatening would affect them in the future with the conference. (for the record I have no idea)

Petitti looks like he's trying to make a statement with his first big scandal and doesn't want to back down.

I've gotta say I don't quite get why Michigan is going so hard here, to defend a coach who has repeatedly shown he'd rather be elsewhere and probably will be gone in three months regardless. Yes I'm sure they want a natty and this is their best shot. But is that worth going to war with a bunch of schools they have very close ties with in ways that go far beyond football?

To me, I think they're trying to put on a good face to appease their fans + play out the season knowing that there is no avoiding penalties. Going publicly against Harbaugh would be political suicide for the school president or AD.

How much do Michigan fans really love Harbaugh though? They were about ready to run him out of town. Constant flirtation with the NFL.

My assumption was that they didn't LOVE Harbaugh. I certainly could be wrong. I do think it would be political suicide to not fight for, what could, be a national championship season. I suspect that's what most UM fans care about.

My understanding is that something here is not making sense…..if he is listed as a partner in an LLC, he would have had to sign paperwork. So either the media report is wrong or Corum is lying.

I dunno, This women kept showing up at my house, like 9 years. Apparently I signed a "marriage certificate " if that's even a real thing. I had no clue...

In that Insta post, Corum has the damn LLC decaled on his car. This business is most certainly legit if this isn't all just an elaborate photoshop job which I don't think it is.

I don't even know what to think of this one. A player can be in a side business with a coach?

Corum's response today was that he doesn't know anything about vacuums. But the business is question is called BC2 Housing LLC and is a separate business from Stallions' vacuum enterprise which is called Home Essentials Distribution LLC. Guy is clearly lying.

Going to be some questions about where some of Blake's money has been coming from.

At the barber shop waiting to turn today and a clear Michigan fan is getting wrapped up saying how this is all bullshit because you can get all the signs from the Internet replays of games.

So on his way out I said hey hold up one thing I was wondering. If you can get all the signs from youtube. Whys he and his family going to all these games and standing on the sidelines...

Absolutely silent and just head down walks out.
