In the end, the happenings in the past at Penn State, Baylor and Miami didn't have anything to do with the outcomes of games against Indiana and Rutgers. For that reason, the NCAA and Big Ten are going to finally come down on a football program holding them accountable for their actions. I can't help but find it amusing, but that's just me. What really makes me ill is that there are people singing this tune outside of the Michigan fan base. Like, "Hey, Penn State's enabling was really bad, sure, but this messed up outcomes of games and point spreads. This cannot stand!"

Yikes, bruv.

This intricate network of sign stealing is going to be the thing that finally caused these athletic governing bodies to hand down swift blinding justice. I guess, in the end, whatever. It just goes to show what a joke these institutions have become. Especially the Big Ten. Quite the year they've been having from Evanston to Ann Arbor and back.

Playing Devil's advocate here...what does that even mean? "Lose the coaches and AD's?" Is there anything they can actually do in response to the commish?
If the ADs and Presidents don't like him then he gets fired. He serves at their pleasure. If you have the bulk of them incensed that he isn't protecting their interests and the interests of the Big Ten he will be shown the door.

They're #3. Hold them out of Big 10 champ game is fair. All in on OSU beating them then..

This is the first year Big 10 drops divisions, right? Or is that next?

And let them ride off into to sunset with the past few seasons not affected? No thanks.

Big Ten football divisions will be no more, beginning in 2024, when the conference officially expands to 16 teams (U$C and UCLA included).

If Michigan loses to OSU, holding them out of the Big 10 Championship is redundant.
If Michigan beats OSU, holding them out of the Big 10 championship game actually helps their chances of making the playoff.

Whatever the punishment, it cant just be about the Championship game.

Not saying stop there, but it the conference itself is looking for something quick and painful, this is it. Then the NCAA can take 42 years to decide their punishment, if any.

Is there anything that matt at ISD does that isn’t dismissive and with a bad attitude?
I'll take Matt over Jamie who takes 12 minutes to say what he's going to say.

Matt takes 25 seconds to give you the same content as Jamie does over an entire segment.

Matt will also disagree with Mike. Jamie cannot do that.

Does it? They aren't going to lose to the West winner.

If anything, it denies them the all sacred "13th data point" and resume builder of beating an additional ranked team. Which, if it came down to them vs. someone else for a final playoff spot, might be huge.

The winner of the West division will very likely not be a ranked team...LOL

I dunno, smells like excuses to me.
Yep. OSU went on to destroy UM at the end of that season. There has been no indication that weirdo was doing advanced scouting at that point. It wouldn't have been the first time teams knew what super genius BK was doing based on personnel and formation.
