Really now? Is this good?<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">OFFICIAL: Clay Helton named permanent USC head coach by athletic director Pat Haden. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FightOn?src=hash">#FightOn</a></p>— USC Trojans (@USC_Athletics) <a href="https://twitter.com/USC_Athletics/status/671352469272694784">November 30, 2015</a></blockquote>

Wow. He does not look well informed at all now haha.apparently colin cowherd(don't know if i should take him seriously) regarding the usc la job said that why you don't hear a whisper of who or what is that that "someone ordered" it quiet that if their name leaked out he's pulling his name from consideration
Cowerd loves USC and can't speak objectively about them. Wouldn't surprise me if he made that up to hype up the program/recruits.

I'm surprised they didn't wait til after this Stanford game. What if Stanford waxes them?
Wait is this for real?
Horrible decision. Absolutely horrible.
If they had won out I could understand it more but they got their asses kicked by Oregon.
And lost to ND... which means somehow projecting towards 8-4 with 2 score losses to two out of three rivals is now acceptable for USC.
They are such a far cry from those Bama-esque Carroll teams that were just player-for-player better than whoever they were playing. The only way you beat those teams were flukes.

Yet Pete Carroll got the job with no college football head coaching experience, just got fired by New England and started his USC career with a 6-6 season.
I'm sure that kind of "sure bet" would be applauded now, right?

Tom Herman tells @Joseph_Duarte that he has agreed in principle to stay at Houston The Scoop
Do you think he could make it?Herman is going to wait for a Tier 1 opening. I could definitely see him being ND's next coach depending on how things shake out with Kelly.

Herman's name is being tossed around as a potential replacement for Richt at jawja.
Exactly. If you're Herman, you get as much of a big $$ extension from Houston as you can, and then you simultaneously try to land a gig like Georgia, etc.
