Look, I'll be the first one to eat crow if this game is somehow close, but anyone who is actually typing/saying the words "Ball State makes me nervous" needs to take a lap.

Not even "Ball State makes me nervous", it was "Ball State makes me more nervous than Michigan"

That's too bad. I want to see Wimbush throw the football with time in the pocket.

And you will if the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon are parked directly over South Bend. See NC State in '16 and Clemson '15.

BK likes to throw when the DB's have copious amounts of water in their eyes.

Weather.gov doesn't seem to think there's a very high chance of rain.

Yeah, I'm seeing 40% chance with most of it earlier in the day.

Which sucks for those attending and tailgating, but I don't think the weather will play a factor in the game.

Could be one of those games where Wimbush throws a couple picks and makes everyone all confused about going forward

We are an EXTREMELY talented athletic team --- bad weather always narrows such advantages. I want nothing but dry non-windy weather for this team all year --- let our supermen show everything they've got. (VERY COLD FOR FSU would be OK.)

I feel like this is a game where BK will take pity and ease up after being up 49-7. Then we'll give up two garbage TDs and the rest of the country will talk shit about how we only won by 28.

I really wish this wasn't ALWAYS the case. BK needs to adopt the patented "SEC mercilessly stomp opponents into the ground" method. Plus, what do you gain by letting off the gas and slowing down? It just looks better all around when you have the large flashy wins. Just one man's opinion...

I dont think BK will ever try to humiliate another opponent even if he can. Especially an instate non rival lesser team like BSU.

BSU laid some points on that high school team last week so will be nice to give our DBs more experience against the pass.

Perfect would be to get Book in midway through 2nd period and sit BW. No need to pad stats. He isnt going to be a Heisman contender any time soon anyway. Less chance of a freak ankle injury and gives Book more game experience.

Good point with the injury concerns. I'm really hoping to see Phil Jurkovic(sp?) get some action. He's definitely the future, so hopefully things get out of hand early so we can see what this kid looks like in some actual D1 live-action situations.

Just hope we are winning by enough for Jonathan Doerer to get some quality PT as Yoon's backup.

1.1M to show up. It's been over ten years ago, but one year BSU played Florida and another P5 school in the same year. Payout was around 800K for each.

Looking for some advice from those who have experience with ND on game day-

Staying about 2 miles away at a hotel.... I see that parking on game day is $40. What lot does that get you? What time should I get there to get a decent spot? I’ll be with my wife and college aged daughter, so walking isn’t a problem. Just don’t want to be in a bad spot. I haven’t been to a game since 2006 and I’m stoked!

We are planning on doing a “tunnel tour” on Friday afternoon and we’d like to catch the trumpets in the dome too. We want to attend the pep rally too.... any advice is appreciated with regard to arrival times to get a spot to park (pep rally is at Eddy St Commons). Is there something I listed that is not worthwhile? I’m open to any ideas for things that are more enjoyable around the campus as well. We’ve toured the campus previously so we don’t really need a guided tour.... I’m mainly concerned with whether I’m spending our time wisely and when/where to park...

Again any help/advice/suggestions are tremendously appreciated!

I have been to several pep rally's and they always seem kind of boring to me. I would rather spend the time walking around campus while everyone is at the rally

This is why I ask... Any advice on parking for the game? Or any other ideas I didn’t mention?

Thank you!

Several, being your main point. It changes the perspective a bit...

Some pep rallies are duds. Some are gold. The one before Michigan in 2012 was EPIC. It had so much. It had Dickie V, it had a cool moment with Manti, it had the Shembo bike seat speach, and most of all...it had the Troy Niklas "YOU GOT TO LOVE THE PAIN!" quote.

I've only been to a few pep rallies, and I haven't been to one since, but something told me I had to drive up early to catch this one and I'm glad I did. It was great in person.
