Truth time. This game was a mirror of diaco when lost to navy and he admitted when they went to outside shoulder veer they had no answer. Freeman had no answer when they went to every play was snap then zone read mesh point. It absolutely made our attacking d flat footed and on heels

Growth from week 1 to week 2? Let’s hope so, everything needs to assessed, from tackling, to play calling

An ugly win is better than a loss. Period. ND's better than they showed tonight and I wouldn't interpret this game as a sign this will be a mediocre season. I mostly saw bugs that just need to be worked out.

I am just going to say this and get all my negativity out. Mayer was terrible. Never saw that coming.

I’m happy with the win. Freeman had a reality check tonight. Competition is different on this level and he needs to bring his A-game in the future.

Are we worried that's like a step over the line? Like how big a deal is that quote? WTF

Nah. It was a joking reference to a famous quote by former Tampa Bay coach John McKay. When asked what he thought about his team's execution, he replied, "I'm in favor of it."

"I'm in favor of execution. Maybe our entire team needs to be executed tonight." LOL

I fucking liked it. It was piss poor execution 60% of the time with a few big hits. Too many drops, a trillion missed tackles and poor game plans at the end.

We were lucky to leave with a win. We had 3 TOs and they still had more yards and more time of possession.

I forgot what it was like to think an 18 pt lead wasn't enough

The quote is a throwaway joke. Anyone that even mentions it is a tool.

that said, this is a piss poor team. I don’t see correctable errors, I see bad coaching and poor play that will linger. This game is terrible omen for the season.

WE need more BKs in the world bc it’s funny at a moment where you wouldn’t expect it,… but he will be massacred for it,… watch

Unfortunately you're probably right. ^*&#^&%^! Twitter and its PC shits ruin everything funny. Most of them need to grab some needle nose pliers, drop their pants, and pull the corncobs out of their way too tight asses and let the rest of us laugh about everything again.

Yeah, I know. It's not 1975, though. I don't agree with it, it being demonized over a joke, but this might be something in 2021.

I mean imagine if we were playing Tulane and they took us to the end of the fourth qrt and the game was in doubt. I’d imagine it be a bit worse than defeating FSU at home in prime time on a Sunday.
