Hopefully under if the Irish can put OSU in a hole early…….they won’t want to show a frowning Bronny quite as much.Bronny is scheduled to be visiting Ohio State for the ND game.
Over/Under for how many times they show him on the sidelines? Placing bets at 2.5.
Five TE set,… do it.Notre Dame? Multiple tight ends? Never
OSU's LT and RT were preseason all-Americans. People overlook that. OSU is going to score points. ND can win in a shoot out... do we think Buchner wins a shootout against three Heisman hopefuls?Yes. We're better in the trenches, which is the hardest disadvantage to overcome. We naturally focus on QB and WR because that's been our disadvantage in the postseason recently, but those skill players can't do much if the QB is running for his life and Estime is averaging 5 YPC.
But their OFEI was 2.08 last year, which means they had--by far--the most efficient offense in the nation. So if we aren't regularly pressuring Stroud with 4 DL and/or our RBs are getting hit behind the LOS, then we're totally screwed.
I think Buchner can win a game where ND controls the line of scrimmage. But if we're not winning the LOS, then no, he's not going to out-produce OSU's skill guys.OSU's LT and RT were preseason all-Americans. People overlook that. OSU is going to score points. We can take advantage of their OLine, I firmly believe thatOSU's LT and RT were preseason all-Americans. People overlook that. OSU is going to score points. ND can win in a shoot out... do we think Buchner wins a shootout against three Heisman hopefuls?
Cain Madden was an All-American because he dominated the MAC. At least these guys were 2nd-team Big Ten last year.Preseason All American Cain Madden

I don't get what's so odd about pointing out that Ohio State is in that talent tier of Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson. Will they dominate ND? I do not know. The spread certainly suggests ND is going to get slapped around.
I didn't say ND will score 3 points.I said a fact, you said a fact. Cain Madden was also a pre season all American.
Nobody forgets per se that people are on high on Dawand Jones and Paris Johnson. I also watched the Michigan game. Those guys are loads for sure. I’m not too convinced they are great pass blockers.
If you’re gonna stand as the resident Buckeye, you gotta expect some push back when you say ND will score 3 points or “get slapped around”
WTF…was she drunk? (No italics)
I think she’s an independent contractorWhy is she employed
I don't think she's been let go from ESPN. Unless her Wiki hasn't been updated it says she still works for ESPN. I can't imagine them letting her go either. She's been there 24 years, yeah cancer survivor too. She's generally respected rather well among athletes given the fact she's been around for quite awhile. Her analysis has been lacking at times though. There was the Ron Franklin incident when we played Purdue in 2007. She got skewered pretty good after she dropped the Corporate Elbow on another journalist after a Sugar Bowl game too.Espn let her go? Shocked. I think she was also a cancer survivor so really surprised they woulda have let her go
What makes you think Styles or even Colzie can’t get separation? LolIt's not that OSU will be great on defense, but they have elite talent to play with so they *might* be good. It's that Notre Dame's quarterback play is a HUGE variable and the same shortcomings of previous years are still here: lack of interior run game (Patterson being hurt doesn't help) and a WR corp that cannot get separation.
I pulled the 31-3 out of my ass as a reference to the Clemson playoff game wherein the Irish were beat 30-3. Is Ohio State's defense Clemson good? Hell no. But I think the Notre Dame offense could be ranked around 50ish if Buchner doesn't show significant passing improvement from his true freshman campaign.
Everyone wants to say Knowles won't turn it around immediately... but are we to forget that Notre Dame was 79th in rushing ypg last season?
I'm a Doubting Thomas for Notre Dame's offense until proven otherwise. I think OSU can guard WRs one-on-one well enough to blitz Buchner and/or stack the box. It's pretty obvious that Rees has to get the TEs and RBs split out so much to take pressure off of this inevitable defensive mindset. But great, you've split Mayer and RBs out, can Buchner actually go through his reads under the pressure they will bring? It's just a lot to ask and I would not be surprised if they fell flat on their face week one.
Depends on if the game gets out of hand. Remember how often they went to AJ McCarron’s fiancé when the BCS NC got out of hand?Bronny is scheduled to be visiting Ohio State for the ND game.
Over/Under for how many times they show him on the sidelines? Placing bets at 2.5.
Lol......You can't manufacture them. They have to grow organically to be entertaining.Been relatively calm around here tonight. Seems about time for a misunderstanding to blow into internet tough guy talk about now
didn't know who he was talking about. Had to look him up. I'll take AJ's dish over Bronny.Depends on if the game gets out of hand. Remember how often they went to AJ McCarron’s fiancé when the BCS NC got out of hand?

i was thankful for the diversion. any diversion from the results on the field. but then the Lennay thing happened. 2012 offseason was heartwrenching.Depends on if the game gets out of hand. Remember how often they went to AJ McCarron’s fiancé when the BCS NC got out of hand?
