I plan on going. If you're interested, I went on the UoL site yesterday and filled out a quick form for tickets. The site says they go on sale in August but don't specify what date. I'm supposed to get contacted via email.

Any chance we could this years scheduled games on the home page to replace the results of last years games? Just a thought.

I'll work on it. Takes a bit of time though so patience please.

EDIT: Schedule is done and up. If I screwed something up, let me know.

I did the same thing, hopefully that pans out if not I guess I'm paying up the a$$ in fees via StubHub.

Not sure I want to drive 6 hours without a ticket hoping to scalp. I want that wrapped up before I hit the road.

Beau, could you change it back until the start of the season? I miss seeing all the green dubyas.

Thanks.

Will there be tickets available directly from ND for the Louisville game? I'm wanting to go but I'd much rather sit in a Notre Dame section.

Unfortunately not, I asked the same question and was told that won't be the case.

However, Louisville tickets are on sale some time this month. Per Irish#1 and my conversation above, if you go to to their athletics site you can sign up and they are supposed to send an email when they're available.

I don't think you'll have to worry too much about being "lonely" in that stadium, whether you're in a true visitor's section or not. ND always travels well, it's our first trip to UL in program history (woo-hoo) and it's a holiday weekend.

Irish fans will be everywhere.

I will be there. I'll be one of the gentlemen in green, belligerently drunk and berating all of my Louisville-alumni friends at their tailgate, being an absolutely terrible guest.

Then I will laugh maniacally after ND's first TD, when Claypool posterizes some poor schmuck on a fade in the corner.

Guy from UL Athletic's Dept. just reached out to me and said that public tix go on sale on Ticketmaster Tuesday August 13. Price starting at about $100.

He tried selling me on a three game package to get immediate access to ND tix, so if anyone is interested in that that's an option.

I was able to get three tickets on Vivid at $90 a pop.

Yeah I was looking there as well. What I'm hoping out of waiting for the public tickets is that those better seats aren't as ridiculous as they currently are.

Hoping for at least corner end zone, which are like $170 a piece right now.

If I get get upper sideline for less than $200 I'd be happy too.

Same boat here fellas...haven't purchased yet, but my eye has been on a close watch. It seems as if the tickets have gone down in price a bit over the last couple/few weeks. $90 a pop was just $110ish not too long ago.

I should have pulled the trigger back in the Spring. They were like $65-70.

But $90 isn't bad. Just holding out another week to see what my options are.

The maintenance/website fees through Vivid, Seatgeek, Stubhub, etc. are outrageous.

I did find, though, that if you register with an email, and then put some tickets in your cart like you're going to purchase, but then back out and decide not to purchase, that Vivid and Stubhub will both likely send you discount offers up to 10%.

Wonder if ND tickets will be sold by alone, most schools put ND in a package with other games.

Me and the old man are planning this trip. He asked a good question, hoping someone might be able to help answer.

Does Cardinal Stadium serve beer for CFB games? I think so with the stadium being off campus but wasn't sure.

Sneak a little somethin' in with you. Those beers are probably going to be $6+ each.

Absolutely, and thanks for the tip. He's pretty much a beer drinker but I might have something hiding in the side pocket.

... is six dollar beer still a thing at mjor sporting events??

I guess for like Bud, maybe... at the Locomotive FC games (USL level mind you, not even top flight) a craft beer like Lagunitas will run you 22 bucks for a tall (at least it's a tall). Angels, Kings and Ducks games were all getting well over 10 bucks for a tiny cup upon my escape from Cali...

Anytime. Ulikinatme is on point. I usually sneak in a little Jack at ND and slip it in my coke/pepsi.
