You used to be able to fill a water bottle with vodka, but if it has an open cap now many places won't let you bring it in if they see it.

I tend to do most of my drinking at the tailgate and let myself sober up while the game is playing. Depends on the game though, and how well/poorly we're playing.

Good idea, that is what I used to do in college at basketball games. What is your recommendation now? Or am I overthinking it?

Flask is fine, just keep it hidden on ya in case security are overzealous. I've never been to Louisville so I don't know what their policies are.

LOL...I thought $6 per beer was cheap. Was fully expecting at least $7 if not $8.

The San Bernardino 66ers and high Desert Mavericks (the two minor league baseball teams near me in Cali) had weekly "Thirsty Thursdays" and "Dollar Tuesdays"... Dollar Tuesdays were cool because it was dollar beer AND tacos... of course the Mavericks folded a couple years ago though...

What beer? I want to say the AAA team here has bud for around that price, but the good beer like I said earlier was 22 dollars for tall cans... at least we're talking talls.

My college days in Ft. Wayne the Wizards used to offer a $1 beer night on Thursday and we often hit that up when in town...often. LOL

Just an fyi for anyone who cares (hate to derail the thread)...the Tin Caps stadium is AWESOME. I highly recommend.

Looks like it!! The El Paso chihuahuas stadium is super nice too for minor league.. much nicer than anything Cali has in terms of minor league stadiums.

Literally couldn't even log in on Ticketmaster, and it wouldn't let me buy through the app. I had to create a dummy account and transfer to my real one. Unbelievably frustrating.

All tickets are face value $85 anywhere you can find them. I found the demand was higher on the visitor sideline.

After trying for 45 mins I'm just happy to have gotten in.
