Do you like Ronald McDonald too?

I actually really like McShay and Kiper Jr. Two of my favorite ESPN analysts.

And yes, Ronald rocks. I could go for a Mcbelly right now, or maybe a Mcchin.

Oh I thought you were just a fan of clowns, which McShay is.

What do you have against McShay?

I think he's unqualified to be considered one of the top NFL draft evaluators in the country and I don't really respect any of his opinions. Besides that, he's great!

The Wolverines held Central Michigan to just 210 yards last weekend, feasting on the Chippewas after starting quarterback Cody Kater and starting running back Zurlon Tipton both were injured in the first half. But Mattison knows he’s in for a tougher opponent Saturday night.

did not know this...certainly hurts when your qb and rb are both out of the game

Our receiving corp IMO is going to be multifaceted and dangerous if the O-line can give Tommy the time to throw. Daniels looks the part of an NFL quality boundary receiver, TJ is a polished and explosive slot receiver, Niklas is a matchup nightmare TE, and Brown can blow the top off defenses and at least looked like he's gotten a lot of the details down.

Handling the Michigan pass rush will be key. Mattison likes to blitz, but if the O-line holds up and Kelly can scheme around it, I think Tommy can make the throws and has the weapons to capitalize. If not, it may be a long night.

I don't buy ND as being a 'big boy' yet... I don't buy Michigan being back either...

I don't think it'll be rocket science... who protects the ball better?? Special teams could be a big factor too...

I'm more worried about our defense than I am about our offense. First one to thirty wins. First one to two turnovers loses.

serious question:

who will we rely on saturday night to get the TOUGH yards on 3rd and short to keep the chains moving or perhaps punch it into the endzone? Seems to always be a key 3rd and short in this game and i worry about who we'll call on when that situation arises.

imo GA3 isn't the guy and i love cam, but neither is he.

if you need 2-3 yards you give it to Cam McDaniel, period.

I think special teams will be huge. This is going to be a close game. Not sure either team can blow their opponent out of the stadium. Field goals will be important. If we kick like we did on Saturday, I think we lose.

You absolutely, 100%, give the ball to Cam. His ability to get north of the line of scrimmage as quick as he does can't be underestimated.

I feel comfortable with him in the backfield. We obviously haven't seen enough of Bryant/Folston to say they are the answer but they certainly have the, dare I say, "potential". George can most likely get it done too but I'm not upset if Cam is in.

He is no a nonsense, no hesitation, consummate professional. Dude is my dude.

I tend to agree... all bs aside if I had to bet on this one straight up, I would think the safer bet is Michigan and a big part of that is the special teams we have all touched upon and it being in their house... but it's close... always is with this damn game, win the turnover battle and that negates some things... btw, ND seems to win this game when it IS a turnover fest... (last three wins if memory serves)

let's hope I'm wrong and this team IS ready to become a 'big boy' again and they breakout saturday night...

I still wonder if Kelly felt there was little chance of losing to Temple and he held his hand with the backs... wouldn't surprise me if Cam doesn't see that amount of carries again.

I would personally like to see if Bryant is what I think he is... I'm sure we'll find out.
