It'll be interesting to see what Hoke can do in what, his third year?

This post has no place on a Notre Dame site. The Administrators need to do their job and not permit this trash to be posted. I apologize to the Michigan students and fans.

That video is about 3 years old and pops up on virtually every CFB message board whenever someone wants to take a shot at Michigan. It's also fairly tame by message board standards. If you find that offensive, you should probably limit yourself to one of the safer corners of the internet.

Can't wait for this series to be over with... As is usually the case this game will most likely set the tone for the rest of both teams seasons...

Seriously. We keep everything pretty classy and clean here. ESPECIALLY compared to other CFB message boards.

This is probably NOT what we're supposed to pick fun at, but how can you not laugh at that picture.

And I'd like to take this opportunity to tell Michigan fans to take a ride on a flag pole.

Phil Steele recently released his all Big Ten Preseason team, and only two Michigan players made first OR second team, and they are both on offense (Lewan first team, Gallon second).

Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the talent he sees this year in Ann Arbor, especially on defense.

Considering it is ND and Michigan I'm predicting a crazy game. With a crazy score like 11 to 9 with a safety and 3 FGs for each team or 19 to 22 with a whole bunch of field goals.

Or Denard scrambling in the dying seconds and throwing up a prayer....Err wait... That nightmare is over.

Don't worry, we're still good for a "that pass went the opposite direction it was supposed to out of my hand" fumble.

Too soon?

I think Jake Ryan would've made one or the other were he healthy.

People will come in anticipating a low-scoring game and we'll end up having a 45-42 shootout in quadruple OT. That's how this rivalry works.

Also it should be noted that Michigan is one of only two teams in CFB history to allow a 300+ yard performance by Tommy Rees. Furthermore they hold the dubious distinction of being the only team ever to allow a rushing TD by the same player.

That run was awesome, was so happy/shocked when it happened, not to mention the amazing celebration haha

It is nice to see a young Titan doing so well. (Jack Mewhort), even if he isn't Irish.

Admittedly "logic" rarely stands and prediction is worth less than a vdime for each of its letters, but here are two thoughts that I'm going with:

A). Hoke's good recruiting classes are not yet mature. Despite their wow values, they are not ready to transform Michigan into a powerhouse yet;

B). The UofM game is game number two. That shouldn't be anywhere near enough to get the defense [sans Ryan] nor the offense [with a searching Gardner] smoothed out.

"Prediction": The Notre Dame defense just gets more excited by playing at Michigan stadium and strangles everything that UofM tries to do except for a completion here and there to Gallon or a TE. The Big Boys are angrier than usual on both sides of the ball due to Hoke saying they were afraid to play him. Our offense needs only two TDs to win and gets three.

I agree. I think it will be similar to the first "under the lights" matchup with the only differences being we don't take our foot off the gas offensively and our D is markedly better in coverage. I see us running through them all night and taking the game 23-10.

I've been putting away 20 from every check since the NCG to pay for my ticket to this game...This is my last year living in Ann Arbor and only Jesus himself could stop me from going to this game....regardless the price....

The under the lights matchup was a nightmare. Lets just say there were things thrown and broken in my house, Denard could pick on one of our corners (whose name i wont mention) all night long. I think our defense will play great in this game and it wont take alot of offense to win. Im actually just hoping for an uneventful 21-10 game that we'll win. I dont think i can handle many more of these that go to the wire against scUM, im pretty sure theyve taken 5-10 years off my life already.

I'd be happy with a 38-0 beat down to pay back for 2007 and 2002.
