Michigan without a doubt has the best luck with referees. Against Notre Dame and everyone else. They will lose 2-3 games this year. What a joke.

Seriously I cannot grasp how they managed to do that "review" and despot the ball. Cost Akron a first down and at least an extra play.

Akron's coach is a moron and didn't manage his time correctly. And what an idiotic call on the goaline when they ran that toss.


But Michigan still sucks. And we look worse because of it. LOL

Okay, people smarter than me are going to have to help me here...

1. Why was 7-8 seconds not added to the clock after they reviewed the 1st down call?

2. Why in the **** was Akron running a sweep out of shotgun on 3rd and half a yard?!

What a pathetic way to win a game. I'm beside myself. Seems like Akron got screwed by the refs then their offensive coordinator got drunk and had an asinine playcall on 3rd and half a yard.

Ending like that just **** me off.

If I'm Akron, I hurry everyone to the line as soon as they called it a first down and run right up the middle. If you don't get it then use your timeout. Don't even give the refs a chance to review it. 7-8 seconds went off the clock before they reviewed it. Akron could have gotten a play off.

They pissed this one away. Horrible clock management from Akron at the end.

It's crap like this that makes me despise Michigan more than any other school out there. Way more than USC. Refs are routinely in their pocket and it is such a joke.

Agreed. My disdain for USC is nowhere near what it is for Michigan. They're the only school in college football I truly hate (besides UVA; Hokie alum here, but it's hard to get too riled up over a program that perpetually sucks).

I really thought Akron had that one. I need a drink.

I'm just saying that the refs are far less likely to impact a game than your own sideline.

They think the same thing about us. I disagree, but that's the perception. We get all the breaks...see Stanford last year.
