Its extremely early but from what I've read and seen, that would be a very good d-line haul for next year. And seems realistic from early reports

He was offered by USC today as well

ESPN has him quoted saying it was a big surprise...they sent him stuff but the offer surprised him.

Has been watching USC this year and is impressed. He likes their defense. Says he likes how Laney is always pumped.

This offer puts them near the top of the list.

He definitely wants to get out to see them unofficially after his season and talk to coaches and other defensive players and see how they like it.

He said most likely he will make his decision before the season next year.

How does USC consistently become scummier and scummier. Who's scholly are they going to take away now?

I don't like USC anymore than you but he is '14 so that would count against their 15 or so schollie limit for that year.

His interest in USC tells me that distance is not an issue. We have an Irish commit and a good friend on the same D-line as the guy, that is better than talking to some USC player IMO.

Yessir! Not only Rochell but Tuitt's a GA boy too and all the success he is having could be to our benefit with Williams as well!

Oh haha. My bad. Just saw USC offered and saw red. 14 prospect!

OK, but still who's scholly is going next??

This is far from over. From looking at what all the recruiting sites are saying about this kid already. He will end up being a high 4 star, potentially 5 start by the end of this season. He's on pace for over 20 sacks this season.

IMO, this will be a tougher pull from the SEC than Rochell was.

No one should be saying it is over, but getting a 14 kid to visit this early is a huge step. Shows that he is interested and exposes him to ND early and hopefully often.

I dont know, we already have his teammate who plays the same position... The idea of playing together on the line may sound intriguing to them.

Very true rtrn2glory, maybe i chose my words poorly. I do feel good about what we have going for us (Rochell and Tuitt). And both Tuitt and Rochell were long shots as well in the beginning. And I could be wrong and hope I am (because that means he's irish) but I get the feeling that this one will go a lot longer into his recruitment then Rochell's did. Personal opinion is that the Alabama's and USC's of the world will be on him a little more than Rochell which will make deciding early very hard.

IMO we are in a much better position now with Andrew than we were with both Stephon and Isaac at the same point in there recruitment. Hope we can land him.

Tuitt had a fantastic support system and home in his mother. She saw the 40 year decision.

We haven't heard enough from Williams' parent(s) to know how they feel. Hopefully it's the same. That's the difference, IMO. But yes, we are in a good position considering he saw the best stadium atmosphere in the last 20 years at Notre Dame Stadium and he's our #1 DE.

Tuitt's mom saw the 40 year decision because she made one of her own in choosing to go to school and get her masters.

As far as William's parents, hopefully they get in touch with the Rochell's!

:s::s::s: DE #24 in the initial Scout 300.

Quite low considering his offers.
