BK says offensive linemen won't wear the No. 1 jersey, but they're eligible to receive the honor. They'll keep it in their lockers.

BK says captains will give the staff recommendations for the No. 1 jerseys prior to their 48-hour meeting. They'll review the options and BK will make the final call. The player won't find out until the jersey is in his locker before the game. He won't wear it out to warmups.
BK won't make any public announcement prior to the game.

Probably another few weeks before Brent is going to start moving laterally.

Per 247, BK - Justin Yoon hit a 52-yarder to end practice. His max last year at this time was 46 yards.
Both Newsome and Yoon are competing for the kickoff position.

Per 247 - BK says "BK says normally it wouldn't be difficult for a freshman quarterback to run an up-tempo offense against a straightforward defense, but "against the defense that we bring…it becomes a bit of a challenge."

I personally like this thought. Swooped isn't capable of beating us and The freshman would be up to quite the task in his first game as a TF in front of 100,000 fans in primetime against a super confusing D. ND WINS !!

I think we will play very conservative on Sunday. We run, run, and run some more, we control the clock. Then we open a new can of worms with MSU and I agree with your assesment..

In the game,I'd love us to run trips with Boykin and Claypool with THjr in the middle and throw a quick screen to THjr and have those big WR's pound the crap out of a few DB's for him up field. Just a thought

Say wut? How do they play into our hands? They start their season against Furman and then get a bye week before playing us. That game scares the hell out of me, brother.
