IMO the coaches said they tried to give DK throws he was comfortable with. Plus lIRC Fuller wanted the ball to win the game. I think that is why we only saw passes to fuller.

I hope we see a much more diverse display today.

I think we will. Last week was a tough situation, going in there cold. A week of preparation and to game plan with Kizer makes the world of difference.

Two things that stuck out to me with Kizer last week. His throw, on the move, across his body, over the middle. A perfect strike. Not to many guys make that throw accurately. Not like he did. And the other was his calmness and presence in the pocket. For a RS freshman, thrown in to the situation he was, it was nothing short of outstanding. He's gonna be a star, no doubt.

On my phone so I don't have a link, but yesterday I listened to a Vemio with Jac interviewing Kizer. Very impressed with him. If you can find it, definitely worth a listen.

Whole college gameday crew except the chubby producer picked GT.
Yup, some serious hate from the Gameday boys (cue Wizard). Oh. And according to old man Corso, GT has averaged 900 yards on the ground this season... smh hang em up old man.

on the way over to campus, perfect football weather. Clearing, a bit breezy, and cool. Irish will be OK if D shows up and OL takes it to them.

Lots of people are picking against us. ESPN guys. Fox guys. Notre Dame guys. Vegas guys. Loads of members on THIS message board. Hell, lots of this board picked against us in this game in their preseason projections that included a healthy Folston and Zaire. That's not hate. That's "Georgia Tech looks super impressive and we look just okay and struggle against Navy's version of this offense."

Yes, Corso is old and says many wrong things. Herbstreit usually does a decent job of guiding his speech but sometimes it's uncomfortable to watch. It's probably his time, but the man has earned his seat until he decides it's time.

I'm okay with all the picks flooding to GT. I hope it gets to their head. Just need ND to play sound, assignment football.

I predicted an ND win earlier in the week and I predict them to win again this week.

Big game today! Let's get it! Go Irish!

I pray my wife doesn't go into labor until after the game!

And who's fault is that? If you hadn't delivered, she wouldn't be.

Couldn't you have just said, "Not tonight Honey, I have a Game in 270 days. How 'bout tomorrow night after the NFL games are over?"

You would have been on the couch and could watch all the games and late night infomericals for the rest of the season.

My wife gave birth during the Super Bowl. Word of advise, pick a name before hand just case. You don't want to have one eye on the TV while your wife pushes, see an awesome play and think its a sign from god to name your kid after the player. Unless you really like the name Jaylon, I'd pick a name now. :)

Congrats to you and your growing family.

Thanks brother!
If he plays well and gets us a W today I just might name him DeShone if it's a boy! I already have a Will.

I'm thinking ND's Defense will be strong today. The DB's were refocused this week, cleaning up the eye mistakes from last week. I think the front 7 are going to be strong. I just can't see the work the staff put into this game being wasted, and with the kids getting a wake up call last week good things are in order.

I have to think teams like UVA, who were embarrassed in week 1, refocused and saw great gains from week 1 to 2. Teams like ND, who showed up in week 1, had a let down in week 2. We'll see significant improvement going into this game.

GT will come in feeling good about themselves and they'll get a huge wake up call when the Irish punch them in the face. I see Kizer doing quite a few hand offs to Prosise and Adams, PA downfield throws and a W for the Irish.

Go Irish!
