I can't believe this was upset weekend, none of these games outside of VA looked like serious upsets.

BC thumps USC
S.Car beats Georgia
ECU beats VaTech
Possibly Texas over UCLA

Anyone want to recap the injuries? I turned it on very late.

Redfield ejected

Barratti hurt (hand?)

Carlisle knee

Everything happened to positions already short. Hurt us on back end. We played Tranquill as safety rest of game. Not sure what that means but clearly, we should be glad we recruited him.

I lost count.

Redfield kicked out.

Carlyle hurt knee. (Don't like this one.)

Luke hurt shoulder?

Baratti hurt shoulder?

Did not seem like Farley played until the very end, probably because of all the injuries.

I was worried going into the season that Chris Brown may not blossom, as hoped, especially with Daniels out. That appears to be the case.

But at least Hunter is apparently coming back. and Robinson playing better than I thought he would.

Even with the uninspiring win, I got to think that the Irish crack the top 10 with both Georgia and USC going down today.

Grade 1 tears are considered mild sprains. Treatment consists of icing, physical therapy and anti-inflammatory medications. Most patients can get back to pre-injury level of activity without difficulty.

Grade 2 tears are moderate to partial tears of the MCL. A brace is usually recommended to provide stability to the knee. You may or may not require crutches. The remainder of treatment is the same as a Grade 1 injury. Recovery may take four to six weeks.

Grade 3 tears are considered complete tears of the MCL. A consultation with an orthopaedic physician is usually recommended. If the injury is isolated to an MCL tear, patients may need to use crutches for a week or two. A brace would be used to provide stability to the knee during the healing process. The remainder of the treatment plan would be the same as Grade 1 or 2. Generally speaking, the recovery time may take two to four months of treatment.

Assuming a grade 1, he's back at best for North Carolina or at worst after FSU. So we need Hunter Jr. Healthy and ready to contribute against 'Cuse in two weeks.

How many weeks is that? 2-4?

2 weeks is very unlikely. Considering he relies a lot on speed and we can probably get by without him for a few weeks, I'd give him 4 weeks to heal. Hopefully it doesn't take much longer than that.

Although it felt, at times, like the sky was falling tonight... we will likely be ranked in the single digits on Monday!

That should bring a smile to everyone's face!

We could really, really use a few suspended players back after the bye week given these injuries...but given how quickly they've been working to finalize that situation, I don't expect any of them back until 2016.

Sampson is hearing that Luke and Amir will be out till Stanford.

The bad part is at least when it comes to Kelly, his estimates on players returning from injury are usually weeks later than what he originally says.

About to watch the game for the first time and know nothing other than the final score. I have no idea what to expect.

After the first drive you'd think it was going to be 60-7 ND. After the first quarter you'd think it was going to be 10-7 Purdue.
