Best Case - Ankle sprain, out for 6 weeks
Worst Case - Broken ankle, out for the season.

I think the best result would be Zaire steps off the massage table, does a backflip, and goes on to play next week, win the Heisman, and take ND to a championship.

Ho Lee Fuk. What a crazy 2nd half. We really came out crappy on offense in the redzone today, we've got to clean that up. My biggest fear was Malik going down this season for an extended period, and I sincerely hope the injury isn't as bad as it looks. Figures that we would pick up injuries to two of our 3 most important weapons on offense, Zaire and Folston. If I'm Fuller I'm wrapping myself in bubble wrap next game. I'm so glad Kizer stepped up big in the 2 minute drill though. I was shaky on his play in the Spring game, but he was also going through a very emotional time right then and was only getting 3rd team reps. If he has to play next week I hope he steps up big again.

No real medical knowledge but....
Absolute worst case: Broke both bones in his leg, needs pins and screws, and torn ligaments in his ankle.

Probable worst case: broke the bigger of the two bones and out for season.

Absolute best case: sprain

Probable best case: Broken small bone.

Kizer is is some respects irrelevant here. The defense doesn't look good, Zaire didn't while he was in there, and outside of Prosise our best skill player is clearly held back by catching a ball away from his body. Some have brought it up before but everybody always discounts it, it's a real fault. It might not stop him from looking good but it defeinitely stops us from consistently moving the ball.
