Robertson is one of the human race's greatest disgraces.
As with all such individuals, anything he does should go unnoticed.
Normally I'd agree on this but there seems to be a portion of the American public that is actually on Putins side and they are very vocal and noticeable right now.

Polls show a giant majority of bipartisan support for Ukraine. You'll get some weird outliers who get attention, and some super isolationist types, but there is not a serious pro-Russia movement in the United States.

Can you provide links so we can judge these alleged pro-Putin folks?

Where are these people? I've been following this war like crazy and have only seen a couple russian/ american's supporting Putin
Well to start, Fox News has literally been arguing against Ukraine for years now. Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingrham and others have demonstrably been undermining Ukraine on air the last few weeks. This isnt even debatable.
There is also this from the AFPAC convention Paul Goasar and Green Taylor spoke at:

Far right personas in this country have been carrying water for Putin and pushing their agenda for a while now. If you dont see it you arent really paying attention.

Need I remind you all again that the GOP under Trump removed pro-ukranian stances from their platform, Trump denied Zelensky aid for dirt on Biden ( Impeachment #1), 8 US GOP Senators spent 4th of July Weekend in Russia during Trump Presidency, Rand Paul hand delivered messages to Putin from Trump, Mike Flynn has been very vocal recently, Candace Owens.... for real. Its a certainly a minority but they are very vocal and they are very visible.

Canada has the third largest oil reserves in the world... and we are importing?

Makes no sense unless Trudeau figures Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland oil is unethical?

Likewise. I’m not seeing that at all. I’m seeing damn near unanimous condemnation of Russia. It’s as unified as I have ever seen this country since 9/11 - more, really, even, which is another topic…. 😐

Candace Owens and Rogan O’Handley (DC Draino with 2.5 Million followers) keep purporting Ukraine is a dictatorship among many other lies that started with a 10 minute Tucker monologue the night before the invasion. They try to undermine every piece of news coming out of Ukraine to their millions of followers. Ultimately they won’t say it but they want Russia to win because then they can say this wouldn’t have happened if Trump was in office.

I’ve been watching Fox for most of this when I do have the TV on and their coverage overall has seemed excellent and consistent with what I’ve seen from primary sources on Twitter. Didn’t watch them pre-invasion. But there is definitely a small fringe on the right that wants Russia to win decisively, IMO.

Seriously. It’s ridiculous I even have to debate this. If you watched Fox news the last month it might as well have been RT. Now add Pat Robertson coming out to all the 700 club watchers which isn’t a small group of people staying what he did… lol

Conversely, on the left Tulsi has been holding water for Putin, but that’s pretty consistent with her MO given she loves Assad and supported his killing of 100s of thousands of innocent Syrians.

1. Ukraine got their weapons before there was even an impeachment. So there is that.

2. I spent a 4th of July in the Bahamas. Senators have no obligation to be here to grill hot dogs. Its not exactly a solemn holiday. You gonna get mad at someone for spending their Christmas in Dubai next?

3. If all you have is Paul Gosar, Candace Owens, and MGT....then thats great. You picked three people the average informed American would have trouble picking out of a line up. They suck. They aren't influential in the republican party. Polling seems to indicate that clearly. The GOP and DNC are as unified as you'll probably ever see post 9/11 and Iraq and you tried to make this a "the GOP LOVES Putin" moment.... congrats.

4. Ukraine has apparently long been a bipartisan subject of accusations of corruption. I dont know a ton about it. But I believe Biden bragged about his efforts at rooting out corruption there. It's a former Soviet Republic. Do you think they are some beacon of democracy? Honest question..

Lol. So on point. That’s not all I got and I don’t care to convince you of anything as it won’t happen. I could tell you that Ukraine has been having corruption issues truly because Russia kept interfering and installing puppet leaders but you won’t care that that is who Biden rooted out as you put it. You won’t care that Ukraine has significant geopolitical importance that Russia has been undermining ever since they agreed to let Ukraine go but you won’t care. I’m not going to go into with you.You won’t care that Trump stopped the aid to Ukraine for extortion and Zelensky didn’t play along. Now he is standing up to Putin which makes me think that is why it was in Putins interest along with disparaging NaTO and weakening Zelensky and Ukraine. Pointless. Believe me or not I don’t care. If you want to disagree with my point that there is a fringe minority of Americans that support Putin and Russian aims and the way they do business. Cool. IDC. Good for you I guess. I’ll take my assessment from people like the former US ambassador to UKraine, Fiona Hill and Vindman.

I’ll just leave this here

Tulsi started pleading with Putin to stop the madness once all the money and assets started getting frozen. A week ago she was Brandon/NATO/Ukraine bad.

Probably just random coincidence.

Socialized medicine, criminal reform, national marijuana legalization, environmentalist. That doesn’t put her in the left?
Leaving your role as US Rep so you can pivot to cashing in on the lucrative braindead-masculinity wing of the internet that currently has a home in the GOP....suggests you're not a liberal. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference this week suggests you're not a Democrat either.

There are so many people posting out of context to push an agenda on here that is very irresponsible. We are at a time when the country should be united against a common enemy but people from both side keep attacking each other. The problem is so many people on both sides keep trying to pump out their chest saying the other side is the problem. I have spent my life working in the Aerospace and Defense industry with much times spent working with military personal from many different countries. This is just crazy stuff on directions this whole conflict can go.

Que video of a pointless post that brings nothing to the table and must have taken so much intellectual thought to come up with.

My reading (eyesight) is not great but I think I got the basics.

The challenge with most Western Canadian oil is that it is very viscous (crude). Our bottleneck, to get it into pipelines, trains or truck transport lies in upgrading. Refineries take the upgraded product and creates bitumen, diesel, various octane gasolines and jet fuel as well as gas byproducts. It would make zero sense to have several refineries in Fort McMurray (for example) when the markets are largely coastal cities.

We have been short-sighted on upgraders which would significantly help pipelines. Currently, IMHO, we are overly reliant on diluents and condensates that are not completely recoverable and need to be shipped back to the source.
