Today is the day ... I feel it...
My body is ready.
Today is the day ... I feel it...
But every post gets us closer to the truth.
Wasn't Thursday night the night that this committee meets according to JimmyMac? Hoping for a resolution tomorrow.
We don't "need" these kids back for Purdue or Syracuse, but it would be nice to get 1-2 weeks of time in before the Stanford game.
All my statements were speculation

There's not just one committee. Colleges and even individual departments have their own committees. When DD has his hearing, it won't be with "the University of Notre Dame honesty commitee," because that thing doesn't exist. There's a university honor committee, but their job is to set policy, not rule on individual cases. The honesty committees that will rule are either college level (i.e. The College of Arts and Letters), or departmental (i.e. Sociology). I'm not sure if the committee involved would be based on the student's major or the course in which the alleged infractions occurred. How does no one on that campus know when that committee meets? That is what is insane! Isn't that just a call to Academic Affairs to find out when the committee actually meets?
FWIW: I heard from my mom's, friend's, cousin's, mother-in-law's, dog sitter's, uncle's barber's, customer's, dad's, uncle's, grand neice who wrote the papers for the players in question that DD and the gang are innocent.
Phillip and DaVaris seem to be tweeting... don't know how to upload em.

Well that some news....
Pretty much.Nothing to say but pathetic on Notre Dame's part.
I get your point but at some point (month later) something has to be shared or known by the students. I never went through this in College so maybe I'm way off but it seems like it's taking a lonnnnnggggg time.I'm going to trollololol so hard when the "guilty" verdicts come out. Lots of experts bashing the university when they have no more clue what's going on than I do or anyone else does.

What scares me the most is that the investigation has been completed for a while. Now that its taking so long for the decision to come makes me think that there is an over-thought PR move coming here.
If found guilty, they're not "our players." They're "dishonest individuals who tried to undermine the academic integrity of the University of Notre Dame."Let me get this straight: you are going to laugh really hard when our players are found guilty and kicked out after waiting 1+ month to hear the verdict?
Facts have no place in this thread, Jayhawk. Philip Daniels' comments allow koon to be outraged and koon wants to be outraged, FERPA be damned! It's been said, but it's worth repeating...the University can't legally talk to Philip Daniels. It's a violation of FERPA, which applies automatically unless DD has signed a release of some kind that allows his parents access to his academic records.

It's been said that nothing good takes this long. Even with that, nothing takes this long. If they happen to be sent packing, the time it's taken is still beyond ridiculous.
