I didn't read it as only KVR, but just that he's the one they've heard the most consistent positive buzz about, so he's the one they most expect back. My overall take was that they expect more than one back but maybe not all, so something like 2-2 or 3-1 back, but that they'd be very surprised if Russell isn't one of the ones back. They also said something like they expect this to "resolve in a positive way for Notre Dame football," which to me would mean more than just Russell.

According to Sampson and Prister(lol) The buzz around the program is this is moving in a positive direction. Now it's nothing for sure but this is the first positive news he is heard. The only name they have heard that is on good terms is #6

I have been thinking about this for an hour-and-a-half. I don't know how good this is, but it fits the framework . . .

My most senior alum buddy and his brother have heard a lot today. Nothing until today. IF I AM INTERPRETING IT CORRECTLY, because I can't listen as fast as he or his brother speaks, and I don't do well with innuendo, and well, you know. Here is the impression I get from someone who has been talking to his people off and on all day.

KVR, the one most central to the original girl named but not named in the investigation has a total paper trail. He can show his original writing and her editing, and is pretty darned squeaky clean.

At ND as at most schools, editing is permissible with wide parameters, to make the document more readable and more concise. Who's original ideas is the test.

DD had his copies and something about his emails inflamed the sensibilities of those from that start, but he is pretty good with his paper trail backups.

Sounds like that same is true for Ishaq.

Haven't heard a word about Kendall.

The question really was one of how to apply the rules to situations that appeared to be "over-editing."

This is actually shocking. And some serious, real news.

And honestly... this means that we're still digging DEEP through emails/files and have gone so absurdly far past the initial jumping off point for this investigation that I just do not understand the point.

There is being thorough... which means fully investigating what's in front of you. And then there's "hey, you know what'd be fun? Let's get a team of people to look through every email/file anyone has sent through the University system in the past 5 years."

Sadists man... all of them.
