I'm more concerned about what the final judgements actually are...for each player...not so concerned with when they come down.

hoping for the best for each guy and i hope no draconian fist hands down a verdict that ruins any of them.

to me once they sign that LOI they are always part of the ND Family (except EV4...) so i pull for them like one of my own. rightly or wrongly.

Exactly. We don't know they cheated, first of all. So if you assume they are innocent until proven guilty, it makes perfect sense to accommodate the student who has a lot of other students and staff relying on him on a deadline.

If the ND Orchestra had a concert in a week, and their solo pianist was waiting for resolution of an honor code meeting, I would not feel put out if they delayed me by a day to make sure she didn't miss a scheduled concert--especially if there was reason to believe she may be innocent.

I don't think that is "unfair" to the average student.

I'd also be annoyed if they put me behind someone who was taking a semester off and had no need for speed.

I'm a Notre Dame FOOTBALL fan that's why I'm on this board that's what made me aware of ND and that's one of the things in life I love. I've never cheered for a fuckin student in a class taking an exam nor will I ever. I cheer for the FOOTBALL team! I'll never fly across this country or drive 12 hrs to c a kid take an exam. Although I have and will continue to do that in order to see a FOOTBALL team that I love play FOOTBALL. I love that fact that ND tries to do the right things in the classroom but what I really wanna see is a football team that wins and doesn't nit pick crap with their football players that bring a ton of money into the school and are the reason the school is even on the map. I was turned away from Bama and Aub growing up because of annoying ass fans that to this day I can't stand but thank god I didn't have to hear some ND fans sit there and tell me how just because I don't agree with things the university does on the academic side that I don't get ND and I should pick another school to cheer for because I would have never become a fan in the first place. So GTFOH with that bs. I don't understand why someone who would say things like that to another fan would be on a FOOTBALL board anyway? Are there not ND academics boards to post on? Having vented I don't agree with the universities handling of this and think it coulda/shoulda been handled in a different way and be over with by now.

I'd rate Ishaq as more important than Daniels this year. And since Collinsworth went down, I wouldn't sneeze at getting Hardy back either. KVR, Ishaq and Hardy cleared in time for UM would be amazing.

We do have playmakers at WR but DD would've likely been the #1. If this turns out to be true and we get KVR and IW back, then I'll be very excited because I thought they were the first and second most devastating lost, respectively. But it still stings that we are losing one of our top players on the offensive side of the ball.

Yea in terms of "need" losing DD and Moore hurts the least. Worst case was that we lost all 5 guys.
