Been several times in college. Honestly, its been a while and we drank a lot over there so I don't remember many specific stories. I know one guy started shit while getting on the boat back. He was kicked off and he had to stay on the island for the night. We always had a group of 10-12 people and was a lot of fun. I remember seeing people fight, boobs, and older people letting loose. It definitely is a mix of people.

I go there once a year with a group by boat. Really haven't seen any fights...but I have see lot's of boobs. Pretty close to a Bourbon Street at times. Great people watching. Definitely not a kids place at night. Wide range of people which is good for me cuz I'm getting older and don't feel like the old man in the corner looking at the hotties.

Yeah, that's about right. I went a couple times in college and then again soon after graduating. Camped on the island each time and had a blast. The Key West of the Great Lakes, as they say.

Fun place, but definitely keep the kids away at night. There's stuff to do during the day though. There's mini-golf and go karts, you can go around the island on golf carts, there's shops, tons of bars, swimming pools, fun place.

Spent many a day/night of mis-spent youth at Put-in-Bay. Have a good time but make sure you know the rules. Can seem like anything goes but open container or miss the last ferry without a place to stay are just a couple ways I have sinned. If you meet a girl named Cindy Lou who's had a little too much to drink and is overly friendly, tell her I still love her.

Some of the most fun nights were spent there.
I haven't experienced the fights like some say, but it's definitely a great environment whichever bar you end up. Typical Midwest hangout. Great people, great drinks and great girls.
Recommend Level 2.

I live in the county. I was on a grand jury last summer and had some interesting cases from drunken arrests.
I highly recommend Christmas in July. One of the best drinking experiences I've ever had, that place is a few pixie sticks shy of complete recklessness being achieved.
Word of advice: do not miss the last ferry. You will likely be ticketed for public intoxication when they find you trying to sleep on a bench. Also I wouldn't rent a golf cart, it's a DUI frenzy. It's all walkable anyway, so don't risk it.
