Holy shit. That was A) 1973 and B) settled out of court with no decision of guilt. If that's how you define racism, fine. Trump is a racist. However, if that's your definition of racist, Mrs. Clinton is far worse than a racist.

You two knuckleheads need to take this to the Presidential thread.

GoIrish41, here's the way your side works: ANYBODY you disagree with (and by you, I mean the Left, not you personally), you twist anything they say to "prove" they're a hateful, misogynistic, racist. For example:

"I'm against abortion."
"He hates women and wants to control their bodies!!!"

"We need to control our borders and stop the flow of people entering our country illegally."
"He hates Mexicans!!!"

"We should reduce welfare and instead encourage and help the poor to become self-sufficient."
"RACIST! RACIST! He hates all poor people and Blacks!!!"

Yeah, we've seen the drill. Willfully dishonest just to pander to those who make their decisions based on feelings instead of facts.

I think GoIrish41 is a true believer. He's not one of the manipulative puppet masters who know exactly what they're doing when they twist statements to be something racist / sexist / bigoted / homophobic. He actually believes that "we need to control our borders" is racist against Mexicans. He's not the one mixing the Kool-Aid, he's the one drinking it.

Wiz, you are being obtuse. Let me know if you need more. There are literally hundreds of articles on Trump's racism available.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...53b65c809eb_story.html?utm_term=.47bb97b6d92b

Voters See Trump As a Racist Madman. He May Win Anyway.

Both opinion pieces who base their arguments on ASSUMED racism. There is a difference.

Again, the plan all along was to attack him for his tactless approach. And it's worked to a point. But most of it is just reaching, and the rest is just Trump making unsavory comments that show how unrefined he is at being a politician.

I mean, a good politician is a closet racist like Hillary, amirite!

I roll my eyes at 90% the crap people call "racist" these days. I mean, it's absurd and doesn't even deserve my attention. And it's all pushed by the media and PC SJW's because they feel the need to feel important and oppressed.

I bet you think white guys in dreads are racist...

I don't doubt that at all. He genuinely believes all that stuff and is sincere. Great dude and all sorts of respect for him, but he's definitely a true believer.

This!

"It has been more than a quarter century since Trump took out ads in New York newspapers calling for the death penalty for “criminals of every age” after five black and Latino teens were implicated in the Central Park jogger case. The young men, convicted and imprisoned, were later cleared by DNA evidence and the confession of a serial rapist – and Trump called their wrongful-conviction settlement a “disgrace.”

How in the **** is that "racist"? Are you assuming it's racist simply because it involved black and latino kids? If I thought that someone raped and beat up a woman, I'd want them dead as well.

So anytime you, or I, or anyone else comments on a crime involving black and latino kids, we are being racist?

The logic is incredible.

When did I say that controlling borders is racist? I said attempting to gain support for it by demonizeing Mexican people is racist. Especially when you are running for president.

So sad and so many questions. The police need to release their video. What does "Keith, don't do it" mean? Did he have a gun as police claim? Even if he did have a gun, did deadly force have to be used to get him out of the car?

If he had a gun and made a threatening move yes they would use deadly force

If someone is brandishing a firearm, they've essentially given up their option of how the situation is going to go down. What I mean by that, is now you've put other people in a terrible position of having to decide if their lives are more important than yours.

You cannot, CANNOT, assume that a guy holding a gun is just doing it for show.

The wife yelling ""Keith! Keith! Don't you do it!" pretty much says Keith had bad intentions.

Easy to interpret "Keith don't do it" as indication he was premeditated on some level to escalate an altercation, whether with cops or anyone else that might F with him that day.

And there are eyewitness pics that show the gun, so I don't think that's a question any longer at this point.

And how many wives or girlfriends would willingly give up the fact that their husband or significant other has a weapon while cops have the car surrounded? And how many families are going to say "Yeah, he had a gun".....Didn't think so.

That alone doesn't mean he deserved to die, but if he was reaching for a firearm, or brandishing one, then we can assume that is why he was shot.

He blocked blacks from renting apartments in his buildings. There. One fact. As I said. There are literally hundreds of examples.

He blocked poor people from renting at his apartment, them being black was was irrelevant. He was blocking people that were having their housing subsidized because he didn't want poor tenants lowering the value of his property. Kind of a shitty thing to do, but also completely different from thinking "I hate black people, I'm not going to allow them to rent in my building."

Someone should tell progressives and liberals that assuming that poor and uneducated means black people, is racist

What does the bold have to do with him being a racist or not? Does someone really need to be found guilty in court to be a racist?

Well, when you are hated because of your skin color and people are going to get violent and potentially assault or kill you because of it.... I say it's time to go shopping. I've seen enough videos shared of cowardly thugs attacking people randomly who couldn't defend themselves or didn't see it coming to just get sick.

My suggested shopping list for a Ferguson/Charlotte like event:

1) Plates and carrier.
AR500 Armor® Urban Go Plate Carrier w/ Level III Body Armor

2) Crowd Dispersal Application - "Get off my lawn" device
https://throwflame.com/products/flamethrower/

3) A to hell and back gun.
MARK 23 - Heckler & Koch

4) Something more...compact
P30SK - Heckler & Koch

5) Music to make nearby protesters take a knee and allow you an escape opportunity:
https://www.amazon.com/God-Bless-America-Ultimate-Patriotic/dp/B000V996AK

6) Something Non-Lethal
Kimber Pepper Blaster - Red

Just my approach.

Nice story too bad it isn't completely true.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/24/opinion/sunday/is-donald-trump-a-racist.html?_r=0

A former building superintendent working for the Trumps explained that he was told to code any application by a black person with the letter C, for colored, apparently so the office would know to reject it. A Trump rental agent said the Trumps wanted to rent only to “Jews and executives,” and discouraged renting to blacks.

No. But I don't trust an allegation made in a civil complaint seeking monetary damages without an admission or evidence that allows a fact finder to determine it's more likely than not the defendant discriminated based on race. If the motive is money, attorneys will always have their own version of the truth.

His former employees said that he did.

A former building superintendent working for the Trumps explained that he was told to code any application by a black person with the letter C, for colored, apparently so the office would know to reject it. A Trump rental agent said the Trumps wanted to rent only to “Jews and executives,” and discouraged renting to blacks.

Then you also have the comments he made about black people counting his money back in the 1990's.
As Trump moved into casinos, discrimination followed. In the 1980s, according to a former Trump casino worker, Kip Brown, who was quoted by The New Yorker: “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor. … They put us all in the back.”

In 1991, a book by John O’Donnell, who had been president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump as criticizing a black accountant and saying: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” O’Donnell wrote that for months afterward, Trump pressed him to fire the black accountant, until the man resigned of his own accord.

Trump eventually denied making those comments. But in 1997 in a Playboy interview, he conceded “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

Could he have changed since then, sure anything is possible but his statements during his campaign don't give me much hope.

I'm confused why people believe he wasn't armed when cops recovered a weapon and are on video telling him repeatedly to drop it. What evidence is there that he DIDN'T have a gun besides his wife's statement? Which, like "hands up, don't shoot," is probably a lie.

Because books tend to look like guns.
