Should go back and read through this thread sometime. It's like an IE time capsule. Lots of gold in here.
wooly's the current rep king: 3.8 million rep, 277 RPP.
I have increased my PPP from 101.55 in November 2014 to 215.55 currently.

Not bad. You had a nice start, though, from your 2012 PURCHASE OF REPUTATION POINTS!
That's right, busted sucka. Everyone to the vplaza to view the purchase history.
Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
What does my 2012 purchase of rep points (for who knows what reason--I was a young padawan with much to learn) have to do with refuting your earlier comment?
Well you expanded my earlier comment and dated it back 2 years.
And to answer your QU, it makes you a chump. Who purchases reputation points? Come on, man!
Whiskeyjack also a buyer.
To be fair, to a newly registered member who is going "what am I supposed to do with these vBucks?" converting it to reputation probably seems like the most sensible thing.

Some people buy rep points don't they? Scum of the earth if true.
Show me someone who's been here 5 years and increased their PP post over 20 points in the last year.
How do I do it.

Libel! Vile calumny! I have never purchased Reputation points. Were I so unethical, wooly would not be in the lead currently.
Ahhh, but the records show you did purchase rep on 8/3/2011. Again though...it's kind of all moot since one rep purchase only nets you 5 rep.
Coincidentally, I tried removing the 5 rep from vbPlaza I just gave myself, but it says "You cannot do this action on yourself!" For some fun, I'll pay 100,000,000,000 vBucks to the first person (Koon exempt) that removes that rep from my account using the "Remove Rep from User" feature in vbPlaza. Screenshots or it didn't happen! No money will be awarded if you remove the rep with a neg.
This is the saddest dick measuring contest on the Internet.
I just tested the "Buy Rep Points" feature. For one purchase it adds a whopping 5 rep to you. 5 rep points is an awful big jump when most very active posters with 5 years of experience are in the 1,000,000+ rep range.
Here's the thing...nobody really gives a shit about any of this

I don't know about that, I hear the Michigan boards have actual dick measuring contests.

Anyone who has purchased reputation points is relatable to a MLB steroid user IMO. Doesn't matter when or how much you used, you're not getting into my Hall.
So I'm proud of my 3,000 hits even though I have a .242 career batting average because I did it the right way.

I didn't know you could buy reputation. How pathetic.I didn't even know the vplaza existed until I was like 3 years in. Then a year later I found out all of the vbeers I bought don't ship.
