Did you see that vid I posted of JR Smith beating the F out of someone messing with his car lol...

Yeah, I did. Deserving. It seems to be certain types young adults doing it. They are very vulgar and just plain vicious. There is no way so many should be that angry at anything. How did that happen? Attacking police is one thing, and wrong, but looting and just plain destroying property is not the answer either. They are downright rabid on some of these videos.

They are fucking up shit in the little town I live in. 8 pm curfew. They are tearing up MTSU campus. A policeman friend of mine sent me a text saying that vehicles with North Carolina tags loaded with people are mostly responsible. They look to be in their early to mid 20s. We sure did raise an angry generation somehow. They should be mindful of a small southern town. Lots of gun toting Bubba's around here that don't like their trucks burned up.

Your in Murfreesboro? I'm in Franklin right now and it's quiet here, fortunately.

Seems like this has been simmering in this country for awhile. Everyone seems angry and blames someone (the media, Trump, Obama, the rich, the poor, the police, etc...) This country peaked sometime in the past and probably won't get back there again. Not sure what the future holds but I do know that nothing lasts forever.

Yeah, about a mile from Middle. There are plenty of news video up. They say the Bedford Building on campus was vandalized. They tried to do the square but the police got control.

I feel like everyone took the blue pill and I took the red,... the amount of good people I know who are just slurping up false (provably, statistically) narratives and using it all to validate even more violence is alarming. It feels like I staring at a world that’s happily lost its mind and refuses to listen to the adults, because there aren’t any anymore. Very resigned,...

Most I know are disgusted by both the Floyd and "protests"..... I must know more adults than you :). And things look to be chill so far here in ATL tonight since the curfew started. The mayor was pretty clear that anyone breaking curfew goes to the pokie. The cops and guard downtown look to be pretty bored, and many have actually taken their riot gear off. I'm sure some stuff will pop up here and there though.

But honestly, it's pretty depressing watching this all unfold. It's pretty telling though which cities are hardest hit... Looks like sincere protesters + BLM + Antifa + Occupy + opportunist looters...

A friend of mine just sent a text to me that said, "no large amount of gun play yet, but it is probably next." He is probably right.

that was earlier prior to curfew, and even then wasn't that bad... that same intersection is deserted now. I'm watching live local, and the news folks are amazed at how quiet it is.

Bunch of coward as bitches. Time for the National Guard to come in and do everything in their power. If that’s shooting people oh well. The need to prove a point.

And they found the guy that did the arson in Nashville. He is a white guy and he should have his ass like kicked on national tv. Piece of shit.

He is, but he is actually living in Nashville, I believe. Which is surprising that he wasn't a "road warrior".

Every police force in major metropolitan areas are already trained for this type of uprising.... We are seeing something else right now.

He didn't deserve to die by any means, but it turns out George Floyd was a career criminal who they thought was cleaned up before he was trying to purchase goods with counterfeit money on the day he died.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...lis-start-new-life-released-prison-Texas.html

George Floyd moved to Minneapolis in 2014 for a fresh start after being released from prison in Houston, Texas following an arrest for aggravated robbery

Floyd had turned his life around but died on Monday after a white officer knelt on his neck while arresting him for allegedly paying with a fake $20 bill

None of the officers could have been aware of Floyd's more than a decade-old criminal history at the time of the arrest

The 46-year-old had left behind his past in Houston after being released from prison stemming from a 2007 robbery

He plead guilty to entering a pregnant woman’s home, pointing a gun at her stomach and searching the home for drugs and money, according to court records

Floyd was sentenced to 10 months in jail for having less than one gram of cocaine in a December 2005 arrest

He had previously been sentenced to eight months for the same offense, stemming from an October 2002 arrest

Floyd was arrested in 2002 for criminal trespassing and served 30 days in jail

He had another stint for a theft in August 1998

This was trending tonight. Homeless man's belongings were burned by protesters. There are people on Twitter firing back, saying that Infowars staged this to delegitimize the movement. People are on crack.

I have said time and time and time again he didn’t deserve to die. I do t think the cop was racist I believe he was an asshole cop that chose to be an asshole on this day as well. He should get the stiffest charges and time available.

But I will also point out the facts that you shared. Thank you for doing that I figured if I shared them I would get backlash. That most criminals like drug users or pedophiles don’t change. The continuously make back decisions.

I have no doubt that the majority of protesters are peaceful and would never damage property or hurt other people.

HOWEVER, it is completely obvious at this point that the protests (in any form) are enabling looters, vandals, and people who are committing assault, attempting murder, etc.

The collateral damage is so bad right now that anyone with an ounce of goodness in them should go home and stop enabling this madness. The price paid in the name of the "cause" is no longer justifiable (if it ever was).

We had two police shot, one killed, last week in Grand Forks, ND.

Hopefully people can remember that police are not robots, but people with families as well.

When all is said and done, and the violence finally ends and life goes back to “normal”, I wonder who is going to pay the price for the attacks on the police when all the paid “protesters” scurry back into their holes.

In Minnesota, the narrative is that it is not minorities causing the damage, but "white supremacists". Yet there is no evidence of such from the news media, political figures, police ect. Just a narrative. Sad

There was looting about .5miles from my house at a shopping center. From what I could see, it was a mix of black/white/other doing the damage. No one group. Also based on my friends in law enforcement, Antifa is present in the Twin Cities, but no "white supremacist groups"

The Mayor of St Paul came out and said that "all of the arrests were from out of state". He later had to recant and say the vast majority were local.

It is sad to see looters and rioters delegitimize the efforts of protesters, especially in the minds of those who do not yet understand and agree with the message.

I think the protests should not be asked to stop, but further organization is needed to separate the protesters from the looters. Have all streets cleared well before sunset. Make your protests an active thing -- no one should be simply gathering and wandering in an area, march or even just kneel in place. If the protesters are forced to be uniform in appearance (by action) then the looters will become more visible. And last but not least, but as I have seen in some cases, peaceful protestors need to continue giving up any looters or rioters they come across to police.
