Just reported this guy was under investigation in 2013 for terrorist ties, but they did not find anything so dropped him from the watch list. He also is reported to work for a security company. This company has government detail duty. I hope this is all not true. If so, we all talk about more background checks. What checks are we doing that this killer is was able to move on without being stopped?

I hope not. We need to be united in support of the victims and against our enemies. If events, like this tragedy, successfully divide Americans, then the terrorists have accomplished their goal. We need to stand united against all forms of terrorism.

I know my question has no lasting effect on the situation because all of them are peaceful, and life loving individuals and would never cause any harm, but was the Santa Monica suspect that was arrested muslim too? Did he call 911 and pledge allegiance to ISIS as well?
