I agree with Bloke. Trying to get fully past NIL issue is going to be hard for many of us. The Bowen analogy as I see it is the whole NIL and Portal which gives Top 50 players tremendous leverage against premiere programs. That is also worse for ND since ND won't play in the upfront NIL sandbox.

I really think without NIL, Freeman closes Bowen, Keeley and Mr. Money QB from Detroit. Or at least 2 out of 3 of them and he would have a Top 5 Class instead of Top 10. It does suck.

Nattys will be won by those programs in the NIL sandbox.

You could replace sandbox with cesspool.

He will be missed content wise but he was also equally douchey lets not retcon that he wasn’t the one picking half or more of his fights. I don’t disagree that sometimes (or here, often!) it’s not worth responding too. Similar to the R97, SnD, and the latest troll posts (no offense). But, providing “insider type intel” is what I think a lot of us enjoy, and come to the site for. Sometimes a different perspective, sometimes just pulling things back into context. Perfection? No! But better than most.

We wouldn’t come back if we didn’t like it, or so she says…. It’s a grown man’s soap opera, now I’ll just go throw up!!!

I always imagine Dale sitting in front of a bank of format monitors with alerts set up for about 1,000 Twitter feeds and all the recruiting sites, Instagram, ESPN, SI, Fox Sports, etc. just waiting to post when the news hits.
