Wow - Out of half a dozen alum apps that requested for me, mine was the only winner of a pair for this game. Granted mine was the only one that is local to the game but it sounds like you picked up 8 from out of town!

Really looking forward to this game - first time ND is coming to town since we moved here. I thought for sure between Duke, UNC and NCST we would see them before now.

Prices look like they are coming down to earth on stubhub - might be worth a look for anyone still in the market.

I imagine most of you were pretty nervous about my prospects for finding tickets. Worry not, they've been acquired. I'll be in Section 15. See ya at the game.

NCS knocked Wake Forest from the Undefeated List today. I had to look up who Wake's beaten:

Tulane 7-3
@ Duke 24-14 (a nail in BVG's coffin)
Delaware 38-21
@ Indiana 33-28 (today's Sparty slayer)

According to Sagarin's9/24/16 Predictor, prior to this week's game, ND would be less than a 1.5 point favorite in Raleigh.

60% chance of rain too. If we have trouble throwing the ball, it could be a long day.

According to ESPN's Matchup Prediction, the Irish are more likely to beat Stanford than North Carolina State. Uhhhhhhhh what?

Hurricane Matthew is coming

Hurricane Matthew is coming

Hurricane Matthew is down around the Cuba/Haiti vicinity but expected to move north along the eastern seaboard this week.Besides the folks living in that area it could impact the ND/NCS game in Raleigh, NC next Saturday. The 10 day forecast for Raleigh has rain Friday and Saturday with about 15 mph. Lots of variables between now and game time. Weather could be a factor and game could be cancelled IF the track moves closer to NC.

Sagarin 10/2/16 rating is out. His Predicator model has ND about a 1 to 1.5 underdog in Raleigh.

NCS with HFA is 78.52 - ND's 77.17 = 1.35

This could change with rain and wind impacting The Kizer's Blitzkreg.

I looked for game odds in Vegas, the line for some 10/8 games are up, but I didn't see ND @ NCS up yet.

Well, their grass field won't be doing us any favors in the rain. It didn't look that good last week versus Wake in dry conditions. Not excited to see it after 2 days of hurricane rain.

Don't worry HH might finally be able to help us get a run game going

ND opened at -2.5

Line now -2

Now -1.

The weird thing looking at this game is that NCST is probably the best team we've faced so far, and no one would've thought that'd be the case heading into this game. Texas, MSU, and Duke all have a whopping ZERO wins over Power 5 teams. They also have BY FAR the best QB if you believe QBR.

So we're on the road against a team that ranks 14 on offense and 62 on defense per S&P while we're 13/84. On paper, we should lose this game... and it might even get ugly.

I maybe get hashed for all the things i have said this year but i just feel like this game is ours. I know their defense isn't as bad as cuse but the offensive film has to scare the shit out of NC state.

...

Line has dropped to Pick'em

IF they play.

Current NOAA projections have the eye of Matthew at 2 PM on Saturday due east of Charleston on a line west of Wilmington headed north toward the Raleigh area.

Yes, 2 pm the end of game time, yes, ND played Clemson in a monsoon BUT as of now this one's projected at the Raleigh area. In addition to all the other people effected by the storm and considering emergency preparedness do they put 60,000 at risk emptying out of a stadium with no where to go in high winds and rain?

Is it the AD's call?

The NC governor has already put 66 counties under emergency conditions due to Matthew. Interestingly at this point that is primarily for agricultural reasons. There's still crops in the fields and there was be a hurry to harvest. Declaring an emergency waives the truck weight load limitations of roadways resulting in fewer trucks be needed in a short period of time.

I assume the decision would have to be made some time Thursday considering ND's travel time and NC State tailgaters getting on the road.

Hopefully mathew goes out to sea and doesn't effect any more people.

Thinking Saturday's win gives the team confidence. If ND can jump out to early lead should be an easy win. Big IF. If not it will be a game down to the wire.
