Put in for tickets for this game through the alumni lottery. Going to try and hit this game and the cowboys game the next day. Should be a great weekend.

OU, ASU, USC... That is potentially one of the more difficult three game stretches any top 25 team will face all year... very few teams would come out of that unbeaten.

It simply befuddles me why ND continues to schedule this way, it's all risk and virtually no reward.

It will be rewarded come playoff time when BoiseSt is undefeated against the Mountain Monks Conference and we sit at 1 loss with a murderers row of a schedule.

and how often does that happen???

Seriously... we could replace a couple of these upper half BCS games with non-BCS games and not take any real hit... and our chances of going 10 plus wins would greatly improve...

ASU message board is saying the 2017 game at ND is cancelled.. next year game is on!

Since we're on the subject, this year's game scares the crap out of me. IMO, toughest game on the schedule with the exception of @ Stanford.

I think they are going to be a solid team this year... and the timing of this game is flat horrid... after MSU and OU and right before USC...

Possibly best front seven we play + possibly best QB we play + Todd Graham = Better bring our A game. I love this staff and these players and think we are going to win this game, but, it's going to be one of our two toughest games this season.

Had we played them last year, they would have only been the 7th toughest defense we faced. And Graham is definitely known for his explosive offenses, but ASU only returns 6 starters on that side of the ball; they lost almost all of their experience at WR, and some on the OL.

I agree completely that the timing of the game is horrible for us, but it won't be one of our two toughest. Few teams consistently underperform like ASU.
