He made a visit the day before he decommitted from tOSU. He was visiting family in the area and just decided to "stop by". This will be his 3rd visit but I dont think its that telling.

It would be nice to see if we can get a decision from him shortly after his trip to Florida. I don't see it dragging out. He seems to know which schools he's serious about so if he's seeing them all in a short time frame on a second go around I can see him popping soon.

Old news. As stated earlier, he will at least visit both PSU and Florida again before making any kind of decision.

Yeah, my bad man reread my post. I do think we will be in a battle for Alex with y'all and I couldn't tell either way. Great get with Tre Bell though, I was really hoping to land him. Muschamps doing a great job recruiting for y'all and you should be getting back on track rather quick. Also I enjoyed watching y'all beat Brutas in the bowl game! Okay that's enough love for the gators for one day, it's making my eye twitch.

Tbh, I dont think people care much. Northern LB's come to Florida and never start. The four other LB's already in the class have better film IMO. That being said I think we have a pretty decent shot at landing him if the coaches want him. I dont really think the pedo thing is why he decommitted from tOSU. I think the father likes that he has family in Gainesville (pure speculation) . What will be telling is his timetable to commit by the end of the summer the Gators should be almost full.

Just got around to watching his film... love how he plays in coverage and how strong he seems to be on film. Seems like a perfect ILB fit for us. Only thing I didn't like was that he seemed to be a bit of a long strider so his change of direction wasn't super crisp. Don't know if that'll be a liability against scat back type players.

It seems to me that all of the fan bases ND, PSU and Florida are all probably over optimistic at their chances. It's almost like the attitude of each fan base is "OK we weren't his first choice, so we must have finished as runner-ups and now we will get him". If I had to choose, I'm guessing ND. But PSU and Florida would not surprise me in the least.

I have lived in the south and the Midwest. And its just not about competition when you evaluate a player coaching is a big part of it. If he did choose Florida I think he might end up on offense.

I hope he's reading this. UF fans may not care about him but at ND we need him badly, imo, unless our staff feels good about some ILBs I don't know about. It's definitely a position of need, plus I love that Anzalone could probably play OLB as well in a pinch.

Yeah no that's fine. I was just wondering why you were saying there was a difference between Good Counsel and Pennsylvania as if Good Counsel > Pennsylvania. I've lived my entire life (besides time at ND) in MD/VA and frankly private school football is pretty weak on the whole. There are some schools, Good Counsel being one, that are better than others because they haul in more "scholarship" players for football whereas most focus on basketball.

I do not think CWM would lie to him. I believe they are recruiting him as a LB. I believe he will have every opportunity to be a LB. But if that does not work and he wants to get on the field sooner rather than later he has the skill set for H-back
