was supposed to go to my first game at ND in my lifetime and this was the game. Born and raised in Boise Idaho lived there first 22 years of my life. Can't stand Boise State fans. My dad still lives in boise had bought my plane ticket and hotel until other work related stuff came up that is mandatory for me to go im so devastated now probably can't go to ND for another 2 years now. was the perfect game since all my family are going before me and can't really cancel their plans. ugh. Now in my 30's and live on the east coast.

I feel like its not high performance attitude to use the green jerseys as a motivation tool versus a big opponent. You'd think MF would rather a more business, detail orientated like approach and not as emotion focused as the green jerseys were traditionally tied to

Prob some of it has to do with the fact that ND cant really organize a "green out" very well for whatever reason. So vs a mid you get to practice it without the truly embarrassing moment of a stadium pixeled in green blue white and whatever other color ppl decide to wear lol.

You know a commentator is going to reference it and the viewer is going to be like uhhh what? So do it with less eyes and attention lol

Could be a secret strategy. Boise's colored field can give them a little (or more) sensory advantage by melding jersey color in the retina. (I think that there have been some teams who complained about that and forced Boise out of their blues.) Maybe us being green will give them quick recognition problems. Sounds like a Rockne thought. "Where's the DB precisely? Whoops there he was."

yeah due to weather its gotta be used in the first 5 weeks of season really. You get into november then everyone is just wearing coats

Could honestly care less what game they pick for green jerseys, just add them in the mix for the guys if they like it.

And this is honestly a pretty bad take IMO. Boise has been legit for the past two decades.

I thought the green out against Michigan in 2018 was pretty good. On an extremely hot day in South Bend, the green towels they gave out to the crowd bled all over everyone's face that used them to wipe the sweat off of their face, creating a crowd of Shreks
