Boise State just made the CFP and won 12 games. And they're getting beat 34-7 by South Florida.

They were a projected top 25 team this year and they look like they'll be lucky to finish .500.

IU made it last year at 10-2

IU lost 1 game Ohio State had 2 losses, Tennessee lost to ARK and got killed by Georgia and won in OT against FLA. If we go 10-2 and lose a close game to Miami and USC I think we still get in, depends how we lose. Clemson got in last year with 3 losses because of the conference championship. SMU had two losses and didn’t beat anyone besides UL and still got in. So I think if ND goes 10-2 with 2 losses against USC, MiAmi and A&M we still get in due to how powerful our brand is

Fun fact: Nimrod actually is just the name of a famous hunter in the Bible. Bugs Bunny called Elmer Fudd that sarcastically, but Americans didn't know their Book of Genesis well enough to get the reference and everyone figured that it just meant "stupid" because it sounded sort of like nincompoop.

Boise State, I can't imagine, will play that poorly again this year. That was terribly bad by their offense. Defensive tackling was a nightmare too.

I expect them to rebound a bit, but that was BAD bad.

USF really didn't look that good. They relied on some hero ball plays from Brown, the QB, and the fact that Nimrod could get off the line and just run past the entire Boise secondary. They found themselves in several 3rd and wayyy longs and still ended up converting on many of them from just piss poor defense by Boise.

Again, can't imagine Boise looking that bad all year, but this should be an easy win, and it does suck to lose a quality win most likely.
