They were fortunate to retain their QB. Unfortunately for them, most of their other key players got poached by P4 programs.

I know it's last year, but USF's offense stunk up the joint against pretty much everybody that wasn't a bottom dweller in the AAC or worse.

Miami's defense held them to under 5 yards per play, which if that ain't the most damning indictment, I don't know what is.

Fun fact: Nimrod actually is just the name of a famous hunter in the Bible. Bugs Bunny called Elmer Fudd that sarcastically, but Americans didn't know their Book of Genesis well enough to get the reference and everyone figured that it just meant "stupid" because it sounded sort of like nincompoop.
