Definitely not this guy, I agree that even his Vandy teams weren't ever winning any games worth a darn. However, I do love the GIF choice.

I was at Temple/UC tonight, and actually came away LESS worried about Temple, despite their win.

1. Their defensive front isn't that great. I was concerned after the way they played against PSU, but they didn't look like anything special tonight. They were okay against the run for the most part, but didn't generate a whole lot of pressure on Kiel.

2. They cover the deep parts of the field well, but not so much underneath. ND's TE's and receivers could have a field day running crossing routes, depending on how BK calls the game when the time comes.

3. Gunner Kiel played like absolute trash. He threw the ball all over the field for 400+ yards, but he also threw four of the worst INT's I have ever seen. They were all bad decisions. UC wins if he only throws two INT's.

4. If you stop the run, you stop Temple. Their QB can't make a tough throw to save his life. The only success he had was throwing deep corners against man coverage in good situations. When he had to actually make a big-time throw against good coverage, he was way off every time.

The only way ND struggles with Temple is if Kizer turns the ball over a bunch.

Temple's offense is basic enough that even BVG should be able to deal with it.

As long as they don't get caught peaking into the backfield on obvious reverse pass that is obvious, it could work.

I just talked to the Temple season ticket people, and they're saying no decision has been made. They're waiting on TV (i.e. ESPN). Dammit ESPN.

It looks like CBS has picked Florida at Georgia as their SEC game of the week at 3:30 so that means ESPN has the pick of the rest of the college football landscape (more or less). Michigan at Minnesota already has one of the 8:00 slots. USC at Cal could be a good game. Other than that there aren't any top 25 matchups on the slate. Temple's next games have a win probability of 94%, 93%, 88%, and 73%, so there's a good chance they come into the game 7-0.

Not so fast my friend! I think Temple has a chance at the upset. If we were to blow this season, it's to a team like Temple IMO. They aren't terrible and yes we should win it easily, but what's that matter when it comes to ND taking the field?

I guess technically you're right though. Good chance they do leave 7-1. Still not a game I am overly confident in.

Should be a lot of Irish fans though. This definitely could be a trip up game. Temple's physical enough to shut down our run, and Tavon Young I've heard said on ESPN is gonna play in the NFL at corner.

Also keep in mind that if both teams don't slip up, which neither should, and a top 15 ND comes into play a top 25 Temple, then this will be the biggest game in Temple history.
