Mailing in a gift, checkI am a ND fan in NY. I also coach HS football and it is nearly impossible to go because we have a lot of Saturday games. ND in NY? Check. Weekend we have a Friday game? Check. UNFORTUNATELY MY COUSIN IS GETTING MARRIED THE SAME DAY
I am planning my wedding too., My fiancé committed to no fall wedding lolObviously your cousin doesn't care about you. Family that care don't schedule weddings in the fall.

Smart man. My brother lives in Colorado and he came home for Christmas; of all the people he chose to vent to regarding the amount of shit he is getting from the immediate and extended family for picking 09/03, for some reason he chose me. I said: "You grew up in this family, you picked the date...what did you think was going to happen? Read the room." he got zero sympathy lolTold my wife there are 52 weeks in the year. Labor Day weekend. You could've picked Friday. You could've picked Sunday with the Monday holiday. But no. They pull the trigger on Saturday with a 3:00PM ceremony to boot. If it's big noon kickoff I am curious how many people will have their phones out while the fourth quarter is underway in C'bus.

The best part is, his fiance apparently told him "there better be no phones at the wedding reception."
...There are going to be phones at your damn ceremony if the game is close
Lol no kidding. I will buy an ownership stake in that website.future entries into fall weddings suck.com?
This is the Lord's work, my friend. Well done.My wife was cool enough to agree to a July wedding for two reasons. First, we’re both in education so it worked better for logistics. Second, and most important, no fall wedding for ND purposes. She’s a good lady. She came from a family of scUM fans and to this day the only hill I’ve ever died on in nine years is that she become an ND fan, bc as I told her; “I love you, but I’m not doing that ‘house divided’ bullshit—especially with a Michigan fan.
She's better for it.This is the Lord's work, my friend. Well done.
well honey that's what happens when you schedule during football season, you kind of did this to yourself, maybe this becomes a reddit aita threadSmart man. The only FBS team they've played with a winning record is Purdue, if that means anything. UConn, Louisville, and Virginia have all been at the bottom of their divisions...or they're just UConn. Syracuse squeaked by those Virginia and Purdue games too. We should handle them, especially after they have to go through those NC State and Clemson games first. We’ll know a lot more about Syracuse when we play them than we do now. Their QB, Schrader, is incredibly improved over last year.
His completion percentage is 20+% higher than last year
I get all this, but strange things can happen at the Carrier Dome. I remember when Clemson lost to them in 2017 (that was a their peak) on Friday night at the Dome. If 'Cuse gets off to an early lead it could get rowdy. Need to start fast. The only FBS team they've played with a winning record is Purdue, if that means anything. I’m curious what the crowd is going to be like. I know about 10 people going that are going to be rooting for ND. There’s a pretty solid chance this will be the last time ND is up here.I get all this, but strange things can happen at the Carrier Dome. I agree, on paper, it shouldn't be close. FPI gives the Irish a 57.1% chance of victory. If it were at home, it would be greater than 80%, IMO.
