I tip my hat to all the OU fans that I met before and after the game. They showed class and talked highly of ND. Thanks to the OU posters here that helped with parking and places to check out. The 14 hour drive was worth every minute.

Nitpicking and maybe it's already been said, but the opening to the game (the one with the political theme) sucked. Usually they pump up the audience. On this one, I just sat there like WTF.

I wouldn't know-- the Nashville ABC affiliate ran "The Mike Munchak Show" in it's entirety (it's taped)...AFTER the afternoon games ran late. So, I didn't get to see any pregame stuff or the first OU drive at all.

I saw that too. I was pissed. Had people over to watch the game and not only did they play that but had a full commercial. Run before they switched. Missed the first 2 1/2 minutes of the game. I was on the phone trying to call work to yell at somebody but of course no one would answer. I hope that doesn't happen again.

Haha-- I was calling WKRN myself! And the literal 5+ minutes of commercials AFTER the show ended and before they switched to the game KILLED ME. I was so freakin' irate!

I almost missed the beginning of the game because they were running Two and Half Men. Glad they ended it on time so I was able to see the whole game. Never saw the lead-in intro though.

Not tooting the horn, but I said the Irish would win because they have the "it" factor. Dismiss all you want, but I saw it in Ara's teams and Kelly is duplicating what Ara did. This is a true TEAM, with mental resolve. The answer to OU's TD said it all.

This is why BK keeps emphasizing physical AND mental toughness. A critical ingedient of any championship team's success.

And an ingredient that was sorely lacking in the Willingham/Weis era's. Weis' teams were mental midgets and they folded in the spot light big time.

Yup. I love that show. They were in East Lansing when ND beat MSU. I hope they can go to every one of our away games 'cause we are undefeated with them at our games.

I am a little late because I've been stuck in Manhattan in Hurricane Sandy. Didn't get to watch any of the game because of work (I'm an event planner) but obviously I didn't miss too much. Don't know if I can stomach watching the DVR but part of me would like to see that Irish defense--something we could aspire to.

Definitely Stanford. Others are possible depending on how they develop. I could see Michigan, BYU or USC being tougher.

They will be fine at corner. They are bringing in Hatari Byrd and LJ Moore who are both beasts. DT on the other hand is hard to say. They are bringing in some bodies but they seem to lack some quality.
