Truth: This defense sucks. It is historically bad. Everyone involved with it has been a cataclysmic failure. It's like 11 Joe Schmidt's are running around out there.

Is that better?

It's Syracuse so I don't think it is wise to jump to conclusions that the defense... or offense... is doing wonderfully. But at least the defense has improved as the game has went on. At this point, any improvement should be seen as a good thing as long as it is kept in perspective.
