My first half knee jerk reaction is that @Georgia Tech is going to be much tougher than FSU at home
Tbf it is week 0, they will get betterYup, neither of these team makes me overly nervous. Should do well against both
Their offense isn't that scary, but sounded like their DC is an Elko guy, and they tackle like it.GT is gonna be good
Their offense is solid though, and they moved the ball well against some good defenses last season. Tech is dangerous.Their offense isn't that scary, but sounded like their DC is an Elko guy, and they tackle like it.
A lot of horizontal running by both teams. Xaiver Watts should be a very consequential player when we play them. They’ll get better but neither team is going to challenge vertically. They want to run and dink and dunk.
They'll play @SMU, UNC, Clemson, @Miami between now and us. They could drop a couple of those, and what exactly would they be playing for at that point?FSU will have quit the season by the time we play.
If he couldn’t throw the ball downfield against GT, he’s gonna have a hard time against our secondaryNever understood the dj hype. He may quit football after playing us.
I loved the stat of his first 10 completions (I think). His average down the field was -0.1. Lol.If he couldn’t throw the ball downfield against GT, he’s gonna have a hard time against our secondary
Easy to look stellar against PAC-12 defenses.DJU looks like the same player he was at Clemson. I didn’t see him play at all last year, but heard he was much improved. Not seeing it. He’s not bad, but not good with pressure
I think we broke him after that pandemic game. That was the peak of his ability. He'd be 0-3 against us if he had played in that bowl game against Oregon State last year. Since he hadn't fully transferred yet I'm still going to consider him 0-4 once we beat the Seminoles in November.Never understood the dj hype. He may quit football after playing us.
He had a good cast around him. He had 2 NFL WR's to throw to, one of the best LT's in the country protecting his blindside, and one of the best RB's in the country that opposing teams had to focus on. All of them went to the NFL after the 2020 season. It's really weird to me that DJ's statistically best game came against ND. We won the game, but he lit us up. Since then he's been ass.
