My first half knee jerk reaction is that @Georgia Tech is going to be much tougher than FSU at home

I should have put this somewhere else, but last year's Florida State team was incredibly lucky to be undefeated at the end of the year. Everybody only remembers them being left out of the playoff, but they forget that they absolutely would have lost to Clemson last year except for stupidest quarterback decision short of Dan Orlovsky running out the back of the end zone by accident.

Cade Klubnik had a read option play on second and inches in the red zone in the 4th quarter with Clemson down 3. Because Florida State was crowding the line of scrimmage, he thought the read was to throw to the outside receiver. Clemson's offensive line easily had three yards push if he had just run the ball or handed it off. Instead, it ended up being a loss of two yards. Dabo was livid and I was dumbfounded by how stupid he was on that play. Total lack of football intelligence or situation awareness and Florida State got lucky. They had a cupcake scheduled for the rest of the year and still struggled.

I think there was a lot of hype with them overall being a paper tiger last year when they were a stronger team.

Their offense is solid though, and they moved the ball well against some good defenses last season. Tech is dangerous.

DJU looks like the same player he was at Clemson. I didn’t see him play at all last year, but heard he was much improved. Not seeing it. He’s not bad, but not good with pressure

Easy to look stellar against PAC-12 defenses.

I think we broke him after that pandemic game. That was the peak of his ability. He'd be 0-3 against us if he had played in that bowl game against Oregon State last year. Since he hadn't fully transferred yet I'm still going to consider him 0-4 once we beat the Seminoles in November.

He had a good cast around him. He had 2 NFL WR's to throw to, one of the best LT's in the country protecting his blindside, and one of the best RB's in the country that opposing teams had to focus on. All of them went to the NFL after the 2020 season.
