This is a bucket list game for me as I grew up in the 80's and have a deep hatred for Florida State and their poaching another title from us despite us beating them (I'll always also hate Boston College). I was at the Michigan game when we shut them out and am already getting those vibes for this one. For the first time in a very long time I feel like we can compete with anyone.

They certainly opted out the last time they played in South Bend in November. It was a 42-13 score and Wimbush played most the game as a parting farewell. Those Florida boys were freezing their asses off on the sidelines. Hopefully we get a repeat.

Was there...night game, single digits. Pregame warm ups told the story, you could see FSU wanted nothing more than a flight back to Tallahassee.

I heard he transferred for their sterling Criminology and Criminal Justice program...

But I would be surprised if he wasn't. They got 3 Freshmen and a Sophomore and whoever filled in after Travis went down didnt look good.

You'd think he'd pick a team to play for that DOESN'T have to play ND. It's kind of crazy to think we'll probably end up playing against him for a 3rd time since 2020 and it would have been a 4th time if he hadn't transferred from Oregon State before the bowl That certainly wouldn't have helped his stock any.

That 2018 game was glorious when it was played in November....also at night. Mind you, FSU wasn't nearly as good back then as they have been in recent years, but you could tell they didn't want to be there as soon as they crawled out of our visitor's tunnel.

Same. FSU vs ND is my first real memory of my young ND fandom. This is the game I'd like to get to, if I can.
