I think you know what I mean.

This is an injury riddled team that is playing with 2`s and 3's in a bunch of positions already. Something that quite a few poster, pollsters, and pundits neglect. 11 freshman have seen the field.

They've lost one game by a two point conversion in a Hurricane and we have gripers complaining about insufficient points so the scrubs scrubs won't get PT.

This game ND will be starting another 2, or is he a 3, at Safety.

The playoff committee evaluated in detail and selected ND #5 with the performance that the 1's, 2's, 3's and 4's have achieved ... on the field. Warts and all. The committee noted that ND has played one of the toughest schedules. Pitt isn't a Top 10 team but they aren't the 125th ranked team either. They are knocking at the door of the Top 25 before this game as is Navy, and USC.

The points will come. Kizer is has 5 starts. At times he looks like a veteran then he throws off his back foot into traffic, Procise has 8 starts he's an exciting runner but not a polished runner. He's OJT. Fuller has had two productive seasons at receiver but he's also still learning. The TE's are young. The chemistry still is developing. Jones 45 yd reception came about because Temple neglected the freshman. Pitt has the film and won't make the same error. The points will come. It may not be this game but they will come and more players will see PT.

I suspect Watch ESPN is your best bet. It works for ESPN events and for events they share with ABC. You'll need your login info from your internet provider to login and your provider must have an arrangement with ESPN. I'd suggest you download the app and try it out so you don't miss ND's opening kickoff TD drive while learning the app OJT. I did that the first time I used it.

Try one of the Thursday nite games or any sporting event of interest. There' snow charge to you.

Also try it at work to see if work IT allows the usage.

Enjoy the game.

you could always get a monthly pass for espn player (around 20 bucks) and play it off the app

Those former coaches know damn well they would never want ND's schedule. Playing top 50 teams every damn week would give Alvarez and Osborne ulcers (and a lot more losses over their career). If they are finally going to belittle power conference teams for playing Division II teams then fantastic. Alvarez knows as a coach and AD how a bullshit win over FCS Sisters of the Poor should be treated - it should be mocked.

At the same point - we do pass the "eye test" these nipple heads keep bringing up. I don't like the argument of giving Kentucky basketball a pass to the NCAA finals just because they are stacked with NBA talent - in many respects losses should hurt those teams worse. This year it works to our advantage, 2012 we did not pass this test.

Anyone going out to this game? Thinking about making the trip out solo, but would hate to attend the game without a couple fellow Irish fans next to me

Must be nice being Pitt, no one really has you circled on their schedule. Syracuse is the only rival they still have in the conference.

Let Boyd run his mouth, hopefully our boys will go out and take care of business. We've got bigger things on the horizon if we can put away Pitt, I hope we come out fired up and take control early (lol like that will happen). We don't need to crush them, but I'm hoping for a "comfortable" win of 10-14 points.

Please ND destroy PITT like the number 5 ranked team should be doing.

Amen - I think we will make them one dimensional - it would be nice to shut down someone's air raid for a change but I think we will instead shut down the run first. That means Pitt moves the ball through the air but inconsistently. Typical boom/bust defense for us - stop them half the time and other half they score. It will be frustrating but should be good enough for a double digit win.

They are not nearly as good up front on both sides of the ball as they have been in the past - and we are better in the trenches. As much as I worry about these guys - I don't see the troublesome matchups of the past. Boyd can be awesome but someone has to deliver him the ball. He cannot beat us singlehandedly and going to him too much KVR is bound to pick/deflect enough to put a wrench in their plans.

Where's everyone tailgating? My parking pass is in the Carnegie Science lot.

We're in a RV lot at Fulton and Winchester? Betwen the Casino and Hienz Field. I understand that Bettis has a bar near there. I won't be gasping a sober breath. GO freaking IRISH!

I think today we'll find out in ND is truly a playoff contender this year. BK needs to have them firing on all cylinders in a dominating performance if anyone is going to take them serious for the remainder of the year. It's all about looking good from here on out. We can't afford a ho-hum game that Pitt hangs around in. If we're top 5 and want to make a run at the title it has to start today.

Be prepared for it. Win or lose, I expect another last minute result on the outcome, just like all other ND road games this year. Plus, the recent trend of games with Pitt .... real close games. As one of their players stated, this is the game that is circled on their schedule .... they would be ok at 1-11, just as long as they beat ND. I don't get it, but that's the reality of it (to just beat the Irish).

Yep, add in the noon (11 in South Bend) kickoff and it has all the makings of a close game. I'm more concerned about this game than the rest of our schedule.

SB is on Eastern time I thought. Regardless, no excuses. Early kickoff? Shut up and play. Injuries? Shut up and play. Pitt always plays ND tough? Shut up and play. Stomp their guts out all game long Irish!!!!
