I think you know what I mean.
This is an injury riddled team that is playing with 2`s and 3's in a bunch of positions already. Something that quite a few poster, pollsters, and pundits neglect. 11 freshman have seen the field.
They've lost one game by a two point conversion in a Hurricane and we have gripers complaining about insufficient points so the scrubs scrubs won't get PT.
This game ND will be starting another 2, or is he a 3, at Safety.
The playoff committee evaluated in detail and selected ND #5 with the performance that the 1's, 2's, 3's and 4's have achieved ... on the field. Warts and all. The committee noted that ND has played one of the toughest schedules. Pitt isn't a Top 10 team but they aren't the 125th ranked team either. They are knocking at the door of the Top 25 before this game as is Navy, and USC.
The points will come. Kizer is has 5 starts. At times he looks like a veteran then he throws off his back foot into traffic, Procise has 8 starts he's an exciting runner but not a polished runner. He's OJT. Fuller has had two productive seasons at receiver but he's also still learning. The TE's are young. The chemistry still is developing. Jones 45 yd reception came about because Temple neglected the freshman. Pitt has the film and won't make the same error. The points will come. It may not be this game but they will come and more players will see PT.
