Very interesting that Wake Forest is more likely to beat us than LSU is Bama.

I haven’t watched a WF game yet this year, but I was just checking their defensive stats. They match-up well against Elko’s defensive numbers quite well. You can tell that he did a phenomenal job recruiting kids to fit his scheme and that is extremely encouraging for us as Notre Dame can obviously attract better talent in name alone. Add in the fact that we have a competent coordinator on that side of the ball and the results will be satisfying to say the least.

I also saw that WF is missing two of their most important players and me thinks WF is in a lot of trouble. 14 points seems awfully light to me. 7-1 against the spread is no coincidence. ND covers and ND big over the Deacons 38-17.

Just do the work win this game in sloppy weather don't worry about the polls and just do the work. If they win out great if they stub their toe they are still having one ^%$$#@! season-just do the work and let the rest take care of itself. I still hold true to my earlier statement keep your eye on the ACC officials-the conference has a lot to lose if Notre Dame wins out and an ACC team is one that could be bumped. Take the officials out of the game by dominating play. I've said this before and got criticized for it take the officials out of the game early.

Hopefully the boys are fired up and play a little extra inspired for coach Elko’s reunion. I would actually love a shut out here, but it just seems like the teams that we should hold to less points find a way to score. I’m still shocked BC is the only other team besides Georgia to reach 20 against us. For me, as long as it is less than that (20), I will be satisfied.
